Ralen placed his paw on his chest, checking his heartbeat for a second before he listened to his breathing.

Myra dropped her gaze to the floor, pushing herself to the back of the cage and pulling her knees up to her chest.

Drake's eyes suddenly opened less than halfway, looking raw and dull. He let his gaze fall to Ralen, coughing, more blood coming up, before he closed his eyes again.

"Just breath..." Ralen murmured to him softly, hoping he would focus on keeping oxygen coming to his brain while he worked quickly to check his wounds.

Drake heard Ralen's words, but they were distorted, and fuzzy. He tried to take deep breaths, but they only acted as normal ones.

Ralen padded around the clearing, sniffing a little desperately, pausing every now and then.

Drake let out a small short yelp of pain, putting a hand to his chest, clutching it, before it slowly slid down to a natural position, and his breathing came to a stop again.

Ralen leapt over beside Drake, gazing at im worriedly when he yelped, noticing hi9s breathing stop. Quickly he leapt gently onto his chest, pressing on it firmly.

Drake was still for a second longer, before he took in another gasp of air, coughing.

Ralen sighed in relief, sagging slightly on Drake's chest.

Silvermoon sniffed some, feeling awful for Drake, not knowing he was still alive.

Drake's breathing was light, and hoarse, barely getting anything in.
