Moose sat at her desk, a hoof against her chin. She sadly turned the OPEN sign on her door to CLOSED she walked out of her store, locked the door, and made sure her coat was snug against her body. She shivered, the weather had changed significantly since the first frost. She continued to walk, her hooves thudding behind her. She just wanted to curl into her bed and sleep.

Song went over to her chair, picking up her pale yellow cloak, tieing it around her shoulders, shivering.

[Silenced Screams]

SkyNote smiled softly at her. "Hey, you want to stay the night at my sisters cottage? She wont mind, she is a big push over." She said, wanting to get to know her. "I heard that!" MellonDrop shouted, and trotted over. "And sure, you can if you want." She said, smiling.

Song smiled even wider. "Sure! I just need to run back to my house real quick. Then i'll be over!" she said warmly, and spread her wings, taking off.

[Silenced Screams]

MellonDrop and SkyNote left the now empty park, and trotted home in the dark, but they knew the way anyways. SkyNote looked around at the houses, wondering why nopony was putting up decoration. "Hey sis, why is there no decorations up?" She asked as they walked along the street.

Song landed on her porch, running inside and taking off her dress, slipping on her usual scarf, and earmuffs, both a matching green. She grabbed her bag with her blank music sheets, pencils, toothbrush, and other things needed. Grabbing a pillow and bedroll, she looped them over her hoof, trotting back out the door. Song suddenly looked up at her house, frowning. She had forgotten to put up her lights! She snorted, appaled. She would have to do it in the morning. She took off, towards Skynote and Mellondrops house.

[Silenced Screams]

MellonDrop and SkyNote walked inside, and skynote ran upstairs to her room, and pulled out her extra mattress for Song to sleep on. MellonDrop began to make dinner.

Song landed at their doorstep, as the first flakes of snow started to fall. She blinked as a snowflake landed on her nose, and she knocked at their door, smiling brightly.

Moose felt a sharp breeze through her antlers, and she smiled a big broad smile. She laughed as she watched her breath change into various shapes. She looked out her window, sad to see no snow falling. She grabbed a holly garland, and a few electric lights, and walked to her door, putting a string of lights over her door. She smiled at the simplicity of it, and began to add springs of holly. She looked down the street and, making sure no one was looking, she danced around, jumping up and down with glee. She loved the winter weather.
