Moving into th nursery, she came to check up on Nightblossom. "Are you feeling okay? Bellyache, toothache, joint pains, anything?" Leopardpaw asked the queen, looking weak and hurt.

She awoke from the warrior's den, stirring in her nest. Shaking scraps of moss off, Sweetbriar heads outside to the fresh-kill pile. Looking back, she doesn't remember to last time she ate. She picked out a magpie, and ate it ravenously. Swiping her tongue over her lips, she was satisfied.

Flightfeather bounded over and grabbed Darknight gently by the scruff, pulling him back. "Be careful," she mewed, letting him go. "You almost went into the stream there."

Nightblossam groaned then replied in a shaking voice "It hurt everywhere. It feels like my heart is on fire and my stomach."

The bush was shaking hard now, so he crouched, ready to pounce. Unexpectedly a rabbit popped out from behind the bush. He licked his lips and jumped, killing it instantly. He started to bury his kill, not noticing something coming up behind him. He suddenly felt the warm breath of a badger on his neck.....

Batwing hopped off the branch and landed on the ground hear the camp entrance. His face was expressionless, eyes blank with no emotion.

Flightfeather's ears pricked. Parting her jaws, she realized the reek of badger was everywhere. "Darknight?" she called, slightly alarmed.
