I glared at him momentarily. "You sound like your scolding a dog" I said, laughing a bit and then realized how close we were. Oh god! I thought to myself.

my eyes crinkled up into a smile for a second ten i pull back and lean up onto a tree

I leaned on another tree behind me and crossed my arms, looking at him. "Why were you smiling?" I asked, cocking my head like a bird. It was a thing I always did when I was confused or curious about something somebody was telling me.
