"Huuuuh...there's a new person?" Carmen asked, coming out of her slight trance. The wind threatened to put her back into it. It was so inviting...she just wanted to transform into her bird-self and fly as far as she could.
However, if there was another new person...
Surveying him, however, that didn't seem to be the case. Perhaps he was from the tribe; he didn't have that out-of-place look that anybody with powers did.
"Get out of the rain...? Nah, Arctic here and I are fine. I think Mikey and Sam might, though- they're in the jacket over there...oh, god. Katrina!" Carmen panicked slightly, looking at the sleeping redhead. It seemed to give her some sort of an illness, being near water. That could delay their journey even further.

Sayzay was miserable, the rain wasn't her thing. She glared at Carmen for not mentioning her, but let it go. "Can we PLEASE just get out of the rain. It's cold and wet and...rain!"

Andrew looked over at the jacket and linked in surprise when he saw a cat ad a butterfly. What the heck? "...What's wrong?" He asked Carmen, confusedly. "And like I said, your welcome to come to my place to get out of the rain." He said to Sayzay.

@Squintinator: Everybody fell asleep on the beach, and they're just waking up now. Oh, and it randomly starting raining. Carmen is worried that Katrina is going to become sickly from it and delay their quest. Sayzay is indignant at not being mentioned.)

"...can I help you?" Carmen asked Sayzay, raising an eyebrow. Why was this newcomer glaring at her? She didn't really know, yet it didn't really interest her. She turned back to Andrew.
"This is Sam. This is Mikey." she continued, gesturing to the cat and butterfly respectively. "Hah. You probably think I'm mad. But, didn't you see Arctic morph back just now...?" Carmen shook her head. "Anyway, these two really need to get out of the rain." she grinned awkwardly, glancing away.

Sayzay met Carmen's eyes. "Naw..."

She then turned to Andrew. "I would appreciate it if you could take me out of the rain. Thanks."

She really didn't like the rain, for some reason it and its shadows disgusted her.

Katrina snapped alert when needles pierced her skin, through her clothes, chilling her to the bone, freezing the marrow. Her eyes flew open, and she blinked away the sleepy fog over her vision. All she could see was sand and few feet. Rain was beating down, and was getting faster and thicker by the second. Luckily she had fallen asleep under a tree, but it still seeped through cracks and rolled off the leaves onto her. She rolled further away from the beach, burrowing her face in her hands, trying to steam it off. The girl sat up and hunched over, retching. Why hadn't she been more careful about where to fall asleep last night? Kat knew any sort of water or cold made her sick. She hacked up yesterday's meal along with some iron, which quickly cooled into a lumpy puddle-shaped rock. After being homeless for so long she didn't get disgusted easily, but she knew people that were more familiar with civilization were, so she quickly buried it. She glanced up and saw the others. Most of the gang had woken up and were talking to some new male. She leaned forward and squinted, trying to see him better.
