So sad!

We live in a "perfect" world.
At least, that's what they say.
The laws make sure that everything is "normal", because "normal" is "right".
For example, there is only one kind of love that is "normal", only one kind that is "right", only one that is "real". All love in this world must be that way.
But what happens when someone goes against this law? After all, things that do not follow the law must be destroyed.
None of us want to be destroyed... but how do you control who you love?

In case it wasn't clear, it's a story about four siblings who "accidentally" go against the law with their romance (one brother is in love with another male, a brother and sister are in love with each other, and the youngest brother is in love with an older female).
i'm not very active here anymore, but feel free to send trades and PMs; i'll still try to reply to stuff!!

It's from Teddy's point of view, and they're humans/anthros (whichever you want to imagine them as). ^^
----
I sat at my desk, sorting through the pile of papers that had built up over the school year. Drawings in the box here, writing in the folder there, other school work in the recycling bin... I stopped when I came across my class photo. Twenty-three smiling faces looked up at me; twenty-two of the people I had grown up with, plus me. There I was, the skinny, light-haired boy in the middle row. On my right, my even thinner and even lighter-haired sister, Sophie, and on my left, our much heavier-built, darker-haired brother, Charlie. The three of us were the same age, a rare set of triplets. Above us sat our friend Annie, and below us...
I don't know how long I stared at the picture before I was startled out of my reverie by a soft voice coming from the bedroom door:
"Teddy? Where are Sophie and Charlie?"
I jumped, then took a moment to regain my senses. It's just little Archie...
"They're out with some friends", I lied. I couldn't tell Archie that our brother and sister were out together. "I'm sure they'll be back soon."
"Oh", he replied. He stood awkwardly in the doorway for a moment, shuffling his feet and staring at the floor. Then, he very hesitantly began to ask:
"Hey, Teddy..."
"Hmm?"
"Will... uh..." He paused, then blurted out: "Will Annie be coming over anytime this summer? Maybe sometime soon? I really like it when she comes here, last time she even called me 'cute', and-" He quickly stopped himself, his face turning a bright shade of pink.
I smiled, then slowly shook my head. "Of course she'll be coming over this summer... but you know it's against the law for a boy to love a girl who's older than him."
He sighed. "I know... but I can't help it! She's so nice, and pretty, and she thinks I'm cute..."
I laughed. "I know exactly how you feel."
"Really?" His eyes shined with curiosity.
"Wanna know a secret?" Like I didn't already know the answer. Archie loved secrets.
I pulled out the class picture, and pointed to a boy sitting a row below me and my siblings. He was small for his age, had very dark brown hair and mismatched eyes, and wore an adorable little shy smile on his face.
"You know him, right?"
"Yeah", Archie replied in a voice that said of course I know, I'm not stupid. "That's your friend Toby. He comes here all the time."
"Yes, he's a very close friend of mine. But sometimes - no, more than sometimes - I..." I hesitated. Should I really be telling him this? The eager, expectant look in Archie's eyes told me that it was too late to back out now. I took a deep breath.
"I wish he could be more than just a really good friend."
Archie gasped, little face full of shock. "But boys aren't allowed to think about other boys that way! You can't-"
"Well, you can't love Annie either."
"Oh, right."
Awkward silence again, then a new question:
"Teddy? What happens to people who break laws like we do?"
"Well..." I tried to think of a good way to answer that. "When they find a thing like book or a building that doesn't follow the laws, they burn it. But I can't imagine them doing something like that to a person - like the law says, killing people is wrong. I'm sure we'll be fine."
"Oh, that's good!" His whole face was suddenly smiling, as if what I had just said made everything all better.
I quickly added: "You still shouldn't tell anyone, just in case."
"Ok, it'll be our special secret! I won't tell a soul!" He ran off happily, probably off to tell his imaginary friends his 'special secret'. I watched him leave, then went back to sorting my papers.
I just hope it's true that they won't kill us. And I hope he really meant it when he said he wouldn't tell anyone...

So, what do you think so far? ^^
I will keep writing and post the next part as soon as I can. Hopefully by tomorrow, if not sometime this weekend.
