Kyla smiled as she walked down the corridor with Elliot. She thought for a moment and said, "Well... I could probably use the exercise and if I'm getting ice cream the walk just might be a good idea." She looked around then stopped, "Let me run to my locker and drop off my bag, I just want to carry my wallet and keys." She ran to her locker which, luckily, was just down the hall from the music room. She walked back to Elliot quickly, not wanting to draw attention so that they didn't get caught but not wanting to move too slowly.

“GOT A COMIC BOOK IN MY LUCKY CHARMS THIS MORNING!!!
Gonna be a good day.”

Reid looked somewhat hurt for a moment that she hadn't told her sister and her friend that she was with him but he quickly wiped that look off his face before she could see it. He laughed and said, "Well, just don't ever leave me hanging. Got it doll?" As she put her arm around his waist her looked down into her eyes and put his arm around over her shoulders. He looked back at the zoo map and at the animals. "You know what..." he said, "How about the petting zoo?" He looked back down at her and smiled sweetly, "I would love to go pet the fluffy bunnies and maybe the horses if they're out. Who knows what's out in this weather?" It was sunny but a tiny bit chilly in that moment and he felt that it might be a little too chilly for some of the animals to be out but he quickly shook that thought, wanting Adele to enjoy this trip and see every animal that was shown at the zoo.

" We're not going to get caught ... " the blonde merely waved off her friend's warning as her fingers moved quickly to reply to her most recent text from Della. " I'm gonna find out eventually, my dear. Might as well tell me now. " the faint shadow of a smile danced at the corners of her mouth as she returned her phone to her pocket ; all traces of amusement momentarily vanishing and being replaced with a playful glare as her icy blue gaze fell upon Analeigh ... and more importantly, the phone in her hand. " What is that? " she hissed, fighting against her own laughter. " ...tell me to put away my phone, then pull out yours?! " she questioned, and with a playful roll of her eyes, was up and scampering across to the other side of the floor in a half-crouched sort of run. " ... I can't see anything ... but I think she might be gone " she informed in a whisper, craning her neck and using one of the boxes as leaning support in an attempt to see out the doorway without making her presence known. " Sh-t! " she squealed as she felt the pressure of her weight break the seal of the box ; sending her hand plummeting into its contents. Clothes. " I have an idea ... " that cute but devious smirk of hers situated itself at her lips as she, being as quiet as possible, tore through strip of tape that sealed the box. " Put these on. " she couldn't help but laugh as she threw an assortment of clothes in her friend's direction before collecting some out for herself. " Disguises. " she informed ; raising her eyebrows in a playful gesture as she carefully tied her hair back into a ponytail. Sure, this was completely unnecessary and they probably could have made a much quicker escape simply running ... but you never knew what you were going to get with Arabella. And this would be fun.

| so this is probably going to be one of the only times I post tonight. BUT....I'm off Thursday, Friday, and Saturday so I'll be able to post a lot more after school on those days ^^ I'll try and get on tonight during my breaks, if not, when I get home |

Kyla nodded, "That's pretty smart kid. Hey! That reminds me... I never asked you how old you are." She laughed and walked out the door, still looking around to make sure no one was coming to stop them. She stopped for a moment and waited on him, looking around and trying to adjust to the sun's brightness. She started sneezing, three times to be exact. She always sneezed when she first walked out into the sunlight. She used to joke around that she was 'allergic to the sun' and that that's why she sneezed every time she went out. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and pulled her jacket off.

Adele grinned up at him, her eyes shining mischievously. “We’ll see.” She said bluntly, her brow furrowed in thought and she bit her lip. She suddenly felt very distant and cool towards Reid – never leave me hanging? What the hell was that supposed to mean? Never dump him? That was going to happen… She felt her phone buzz, but she was too distracted to care. She wasn’t smiling anymore, instead looking thoughtfully away. Flashbacks hit her like punch in the stomach.

Della had just turned twelve – even back then in her pre-teen years she was gorgeous. Lush brown hair had fall on her shoulders in rich curls; intense eyes had followed a boy who was talking to his gang. She liked him a lot but she was too afraid to talk to him. He came up to her and asked if she wanted to go get an ice cream afterward. She agreed, of course. After that – her and the boy, who shall remain unnamed, became an item and were the gossip of the middle school until the boy dumped Della for a girl WAY prettier.

That boy tore her up – and ever since – Adele was the queen at dumping. Yet she has to be the center of every boy’s heart. It was complicated – so when Reid joked about not leaving him she suddenly wanted to dump him. Right there, right now. Adele drew a shaking breath in and nodded – “Sure – the petting zoo sounds cool.” She shivered and folded her arms across her chest – pushing away the last memory. That was five years ago – half a decade. Could she really be that stupid? Break ups were painful for any girl – Adele just didn’t get close to any of the guys she dated. She did it so they’d think they had a chance. She liked them fine sure – but she dumped them before they could break up with her. She was the one in control – right?

But this relationship felt out of control and it scared Dell. Suddenly she turned around in front of Reid and hugged him as hard as she could. “No…” She whispered, “Don’t leave me hanging.”

"That's cool.... I'm 21," she said laughing. She blushed a little though, a bit ashamed that she was still in high school at this age, she didn't usually let it show but this boy just sort of pulled it out of her. "I stayed back a few times," she mumbled and looked at the boy.

Reid watched as Adele seemed to go blank. He watched her curiously and shook the thoughts of her leaving him right then and there, her coming to her senses, out of his head. He really liked this girl right now and was going to try to stay with her as long as possible. At least until he got bored with her. Suddenly, Adele turned and hugged him tightly and he slowly put his arms around her. He heard her whispering to never leave her hanging and he lifted her face up by her chin and kissed her forehead, "I'm not going to leave you hanging." He then put her head to his chest again and held her for a moment, "Come on hun. Let's go." He loosened his arms from around her and held her hand as he started walking away from the fox enclosure. He couldn't assure her that he wasn't going to leave her hanging. He didn't get close to anyone these days and when he did start getting close, he would leave them almost immediately. He would cheat or come up with some stupid reason for them to break up. He didn't know how this relationship was going to end up but he knew that they were from two different worlds and that they probably wouldn't make it very far anyway.

He looked back down at the map and looked around, "This way." He pulled her to the right and walked into a small pathway that led into a garden. Screw the petting zoo right now, he thought to himself, we'll get there soon enough. He looked back at Adele, wondering what had come over her. He smiled at her as they entered a small garden, walls of beautiful trees made a circle and there was a bench in the middle. Flowers were in bloom all around them and the smell was intoxicating. He let go of Adele's hand and walked over to the bench and sat down slowly.

{Just a warning: My computer got a weird virus (thanks to my sims 3 game) and now I can't use my laptop without fear it will spread and destroy it. So I am on my kindle and iPod for the next few days, sorry if my posts come out like __insert bad word here__. I am just lucky I saved some of my formates in my drafts, but that might not last me long either. Thanks! So sorry for the inconvenience, I'll try to post as much as I can, though I've been suffering from extreme writer's block, which might be why I've been rambling on with my characters because I have nothing better to post. Sorry about that too...}

Eli nodded and said,"Eh, at least there was no school." He still could not stand school, but he would need to put up with it for the next two years. Great. He walked into the school, a few people staring at him and Issey as they strolled back into the school. He smirked a little to himself. Just another thing to gossip around the school, he hoped they had fun with that. He personally couldn't stand gossip and usually tried not to listen to it. But when you were high up on the social pyramid, it was very hard not to. One of the cons of being loveable. He knew he sounded full of himself sometimes, but fame and fortune did do that to your head. You should see him at home, you wouldn't even recognize him.

He was glad that Issey and everyone else were seeing this side of him;The brave side, not the side that coward in a corner when ever he heard yelling or throwing of large objects. He was a lot more chill here then at home, which he found ironic because he hated this place as well. He was sure he would never be comfortable anywhere. Looking back down at Issey, he said,"Where are your friends at?" He wasn't really looking for his friends, he didn't feel like joining their debate about football and other things like that. He knew that Issey probably couldn't live without her friends, which was nice. She had people there to support her, and she was important in other people's lives. She certainly was popular if she was texting her friends all the time. It was always interesting hanging with the barbies, each one pretty much acted the same. It made things easier for him, they all liked the same things, and he could easily win one over by using the same dirty tricks he played on their friends.

He knew he was mean, a lot of people were if you took a look around. Of course the school bullies, the loners hated everyone, the emos hated life, delinquents one goal in life was the blow everything up, and even the nerds were wild when it came to how the last Starwars movie should have ended. He smirked at society, he wondered if god had a good show up there. Watching everyone eat everyone else for the climb to success.

Derek wondered where all of his friends were. His buddies were never in class. He couldn't even find the girls. Arabella was nowhere to be seen in school today. He wondered where everyone was. Derek looked back over at the girl when he heard her speak. He had seen her a few times around the school and maybe in some of his classes but he couldn't remember her name. She was categorized in the 'Loner' group. Usually Derek wouldn't waste his time talking to someone like her but he was bored and she actually seemed pretty cool. She asked him if he wanted to join her outside. Derek looked down the hall to see of any of his friends were coming. Unlucky, Derek smirked and answered. "Why not?" He looked back over at the girl and gestured to the staircase down the hall that led to the ground floor.

Audrey nodded and started walking in the direction of the staircase. She couldn't help but wonder how this would turn out, she knew it wasn't a smart idea to be mixing with the more popular people. She was a more sociable loner, she didn't mind talking to anyone. She usually found anything to talk about as well, though she was starting to learn to shut her mouth more. It was safer this way, and was for the best. She walked, a faint tapping on the hard floor. She wasn't wearing heals, she honestly had no idea how the barbies were able to wear those things and walk at the same time. She was perfectly fine with her doodled up converse.

She walked in silence, she was having trouble with what to say to the jock. She wasn't a huge fan of sports, she wasn't even sure what this guy played. She played soft ball, soccer and track, but that was really it. She didn't really watch professional sports either, but she knew Eli did. Her brother was doing everything right so far, she would need to start learning from him more. She couldn't see how her brother was able to pull of the label as a jock, she saw him as the most nerdiest kid in the history of the world, but everyday when she saw him in the halls, he was a completely different person. She felt like punching him where no boy should ever be punched when she saw him acting that way, it made her sick. She knew the real him, and it wasn't what he was showing off in front of the girls.

Anyway, she had learned to not say anything to random in front of a jock, she didn't need the humiliation. She kept her mouth shut, and continued to walk down the stairs,and soon the hallway. This wasn't going to be even more awkward outside, but she had made an inference to what would happen. He would see his friends, then ditch her for the more popular crowd. And that was fine with her, she wasn't desperate for someone's attention like the other girls. She was perfectly capable with hanging out on the bleachers and avoiding as many teachers as she could. It was actually quiet easy, she didn't know why all the other girls needed guys to be their escort.

"No," she said walking down the stairs slowly, "Not really. Each year I just seem to get a bit lazier and don't try to pass. I failed on purpose my first year of failing. I don't know. Maybe I was scared that I wouldn't get out there and succeed or that I wouldn't be accepted to any good colleges. This is my last year here though." She smiled at Elliot and continued walking, catching up to him to walk beside him, "I don't know... Maybe I'm still afraid of becoming a failure. I have someone who can hook me up with a pretty great job though. So I might take it and do community college or online college or something. I'm not sure yet. The job would probably get me into a small apartment and pay for food and gas and some things for myself. I'm just not sure if I want to work there. It's a retail store, for people more like myself and for the delinquents. Kind of a thrift store I guess. I don't know what to call it. I could climb to a manager position real fast I'm sure." She shrugged and kept walking, keeping up with Elliot.
