The Ones In White (Semi-lit--ACEPTING)

Crystal just mocked what kathrine said. "I NEVER ASKED TO BE ON THIS TEAM" She snarled before looking back to the banshee.

"Then leave!" Gabriel bellowed. Katherine growled under her breath, trying not to think of the smart-mouthed scythe weilder. She gripped her sword tigher, taking up a familiar fencing pose. Katherine's heart pounded wildly, fueled by adrenaline. After Crystal's unwarranted comment, she figured a fight would be exactly what she needed to cool down.

Crystal grunted. "I wont, You need someone who can raise the dead" She muttered to low for anyone to hear. she looked up at the Banshee, looking for it's weakness.

Alyssa scrambled to her feet and whistled for Char who was sniffing around in the trees. The dog bounded to her side and they took off into the forest. Snowflakes nipped at Aly's face as she sprinted towards the beach. As she neared the coast she heard arguing and instantly recognized Crystal and Katherine's voice.
"Fighting again Crystal?" she asked as she ran past. She came to a halt a ways away from the banshee. Sedge was running circles around the thing with Kit close by, trying to get the right angle to kill it without causing much noise.
"Sedge move!" she yelled, pulling an arrow from her quiver and stringing her bow.
The boy's eyes bugged a little and he darted out of the way.
"Cover your ears guys! This thing's going to shriek like...well a banshee," she said. She pulled back the string and aimed at the creature. She sent a silent prayer to Artemis that she wouldn't miss in this blinding snow and let her arrow fly.

Despite the cloth in his ears, he could still hear the banshee and the others arguing.
"If you don't stop arguing, I'm feeding you to the kraken!"
He looked at the banshee and realized what it was. He remember being taught the two types of banshee's. One warns your family of death and they do no harm and the other killed you with their screams and fed on your fear and pain as you cried or screamed. The only way to kill a banshee was with life and bravery.

Salem heard a deafening shriek as he reached the battle. He hauled himself out of the water, his sword in hand. He was coming up behind the banshee, so he would probably have a slight advantage, but not much. He gripped Lux tighter, and wondered if the sword would be able to seal a banshee's scream. Only one way to find out, he thought, swinging his sword in an intricate pattern, creating the seal to hold the creature's cry. He hoped that it would work.

Crystal just watched, her cat wrapped around her neck as she sat in a tree. "Well now." she said as she flicked her scythe, cutting the branch above her off.

The Banshee stopped screaming and started to thrash and tried to scratch all of them with her long fingernails. Her eyes were wide and wild and darted between everyone, settling on Kit. The Banshee began stolling toward her and Nathan yelled,
"Watch out!"

Kit jumped back with surprising agility for her size. Salem moved forward, pinning the banshee down, pulling her arms behind her. She struggled, and her sharp nails raked across his face causing blood to run into his eyes. He winced, then focused on keeping her pinned so no one would get hurt.

Alyssa cursed when the Banshee moved at the last moment. The arrow flew inches away from the creature and embedded it's self in the frozen ground. She quickly drew another arrow and was about to fire when Salem jumped on the Banshee. Aly slung her bow onto her back and drew the small hunting knife she kept for cleaning animals and emergencies. She ran over to Salem and the Banshee. Then the creature let out another ear-splitting shriek. Aly, being as close to the Banshee as she was, was floored and pain coursed through her head. She covered her ears but that didn't help much.
Char camed to a skidding halt beside her and whined a moment before growling at the Banshee. He looked at Salem as if deciding whether or not to attack the Banshee while the man was still struggling with it.
