Still watching Sketch and Jeb, curious of the outcome, Daisy turned her nose slightly towards Lila and addressed her. "Since Sketch woke me up, I guess I may as well make the most out of it," she said. "How've you been lately, Lila?"

"Lonely." Lila sighed. Everyone knew she was in love with a great-dane german shepherd mix named Nicks, who died last month. "I still can't believe Nicks is gone."

White Fang paced back and forth, snarling at anybody in sight. He didn't really care if he ever got adopted or not, for all he knew he'll probably stay in here for the rest of his life. He growled quietly to himself and laid down, he placed his head between his paws and closed his eyes, listening to the sounds surrounding him


Vento cocked his head to the side and looked outside of the cage bars, he whimpered and pawed at the bars wanting to get out and run around for once. He sighed softly and sat down

"Yeah, me neither," Daisy said a little dejectedly. "But life goes on, I guess. There are a lot of other dogs in this place. Can't you make friends with a few of them, maybe?"
