Erica ran her hands quickly over the bows that were lined up along the wall and smiled softly before moving on. She intended to win this thing if she could. Of course Erica was not foolish enough to know she wouldn't have any competition, she would of course, besides Erica was no fool, any idiot could see that. She selected a dagger, testing the balance of it quickly before nodding to herself. She walked out to where the targets had been set up and took maybe twenty or more paces away before, almost casually flicking the dagger at the target. It hit just outside the bulls eye. That was quite purposeful of course, she wasn't about to show off all her skill to these people here of course. She glanced absently around analytically. She didn't see anyone who really interested her very much. Perhaps the best had yet to arrive here. She rolled her eyes and walked lightly forward plucking the dagger from the target and putting it back away.

Ryn sat in the back of the room watching the tributes absently wondering which one was hers to mold into greatness. She chuckled to herself. She found the district children to be so amusing, they didn't understand life, and honestly how could they? They were stuck in the districts, poor things, well it was really their own fault. She laughed softly to herself and patted her hair. Compared to most of the capitol people Ryn looked quite normal, well color wise anyways. Her skin retained it's natural tawny color, and her eyes were a normal solid green. The only thing with her was that she didn't look quite human. Her eye brows arched upwards and ears were nearly pointed at the tips. She had read about these creatures in an old book she had found once. They were called elves, and they had always intrigued her, so she had asked to have her appearance to change to look slightly like one. It had given her a look of almost surreal beauty, and she liked it.
