Shard flicked her tail for them to follow her and she sprang into the bushes. The forest had changed alot from when she had last been with Nova, but it was still recognizable.
"Have any idea why you need to go anyway?" she asked.

The WaveClan cats ran after her and so did the two DuskClan.
"Because StarClan told us to," Roseflame replied simply.

Dawnfrost poked her head into the Apprentices' Den.
"Dreampaw! Time for-" she didn't finish, because she spotted that there was no cats inside.
She turned around and saw Littlepaw dragging off a fish from the freshkill pile.
"Littlepaw!" she called.
"Yes?" he dragged the fish over to her then put it down, giving a respectful bow to his deputy. "What do you need?"
"Have you seen Dreampaw?" she asked.
"No," he shook his head and suddenly had worry in his eyes. "I thought you had sent her on a patrol,"
Dawnfrost shook her head.
"It's not like her to run off like that," she sighed. "I guess we'll just have to wait for her to come back,"
Littlepaw nodded then took his breakfast away.

Shard thought a little.
"But why send you to a dangerous place? Why couldn't Star Clan just tell you it in a dream?" she replied.


Darkcloud got up from where he was and wandered over to the apprentices den. Fawnpaw hadn't gone training with him yet, and it would be his first chance. But then he heard a yowl from the nursary. It was Cloudpool. He rushed in and saw Moonkit was gone.
"Where is she!" she squealed.

"Has anyone seen Palemoon?" Sunpelt entered the camp, a completely irritated but tired look on her face. "She wasn't here to take the Night patrol, so I had to go instead,"
"What?" Dawnfrost whipped around and ran towards Sunpelt. "Palemoon's missing?"
Sunpelt shrugged.
"Haven't seen her since last night," she replied. "Why, don't you know?"
"All I know is I sent her for the night patrol," Dawnfrost snapped, annoyed. "Dreampaw's not here either."
"Maybe they've gone off together?" Sunpelt suggested.
"I certainly hope so," the deputy retorted, and she felt the fur on her neck bristle in indignance. "Why, when I get my paws on Dreampaw..."
"You'll do what?" Ivystar raised an eyebrow at the Dawnfrost, who appeared behind. "Maybe they've just gone hunting together, or something. No need to get so het up,"
Dawnfrost nodded, and sighed, letting herself calm down.

"I wish they did that instead," Emberflame sighed. "Then we wouldn't have to travel so far and not put ourselves in danger,"
Roseflame rolled her eyes.

Fernflower licked her sister.
"Dont worry! She'll come back," she muttered to her.
Cloudpool started shaking.
"Darkcloud! What if shes dead!" she hissed. Darkcloud's eyes widened.
"What!? Dont say that!" he replied. Panthervenom looked into the nursary.
"Have you seen Roseflame or Emberflame?" he asked. The cats all shrugged and looked at each other.
"Maybe its all connected?" suggested Fernflower. Foxpaw lept into Panthervenom.
"Help! Shes gone! Fawnpaws gone!" he yowled. Fernflower and Cloudpool nodded.
"Definatley connected," they said in sync.

Shard laughed then smelt something familiar. She knew it was one of the cats from the gang, but the cat was heading towards her. If anyone found out she was with these clan cats, Clem or Bramble would kill her. She caught scent of her leader coming. Clem was coming...

Emberflame and Roseflame both exchanged glances, they could scent Clem too.
"Why is she here?" Roseflame hissed, her eyes blazing with urgency. "We don't have time for this,"
"I don't know," he shrugged. "But hey, we've got a big army on our side."
"Clem has bigger," Roseflame said glumly.
"She wouldn't have taken them all with her," he pointed out.

Shard looked back at them.
"Shes only got Raven with her. We'll be fine. Raven is a newbie in the gang. She said she wanted to go and train her," she replied then picked up the pace. Clem would come bursting through the bushes anytime soon.

Clem smelt Shard up ahead. What was that she-cat doing? She looked back at Raven and sighed.
"You go through first, I want to see how you react to those cats," she said then sat down, watching the dark brown she-cat wander through the bush.

A dark brown she-cat wandering through the bush and saw all the cats and yowled. Shard hissed at her and unsheathed her claws.
"Raven... Why hello there newbie. How are things?" she snarled. Raven quivered.
"I'm not here to fight, I-I swear!" she replied but Clem came charging through.
"I'll deal with this Raven!" she hissed.

All (of my) cats froze.
Roseflame heard the sound of Clem's voice and scowled.
Poisonclaw stayed silent, but as usual there was no readable expression on his face.
