Blacklight looked at the wolves and nodded. "Perhaps we should check it out." he told them. he shifted his paws uneasily. "I don't think it will be... good... but I still think we should check it out. You know, just in case." Blacklight set off in the direction of the strange scent.

I trotted along beside him, nose to the air. "What do you think it is?" I whispered to him.

Blacklight stopped and tilted his head towards Rayfell. "I'm not sure, but... it smells like bear. Watch Evanlyn closely, okay? Just in case it is?" Blacklight didn't like the thought of encountering a bear, especially in this heat.

I sighed. "If there's a bear and it attacks, Evanlyn should stay with Parthurnax. I'm an agile fighter and the heat bothers me only a little. I could help you fight. Parthurnax looked at Evanlyn then at Rayfell "Is she staying to protect me? I Know I wouldn't be able to do anything" He really wanted to hear this reply, inside he was laughing, he knew he could fight a bear just the fact that right away it would give him away.

Blacklight glared at the Healer. "I highly doubt that you wouldn't be able to do anything," he told him. He shook his head, and stepped towards Parthurnax. "You and I know both know that you can take care of yourself." the alpha growled quietly.

Evanlyn was trailing behind the others by a bit, feeling very awkward. It was hard to not let her discomfort show and her ears were starting to flatten a bit. I-I can hear them talking about me, I just don't get what they mean... I can take care of myself, right? she was getting more and more uncertain as she thought I just hope I'm not too weak... I don't want to be a burden to them. Argh! I wish they would stop talking about me like I'm not here...
