Emerald blushed and smiled a whole lot bigger. "Well that's good." she answered with a small giggle. "Glad I could help." she looked up at him. "You'll be staying won't you?"

Frank nodded "Well i have nowhere else so i guess so, yeah and im never leaving you again, i wouldnt be able to cope" he admitted, rubbing his lower jaw.

Sam felt the heat of an arrow aimed at him. It was almost a sixth sense for him now. He inched ever-so cautiously so that the trunk was a barrier between him and the strangers, and took off at a run, balancing on the tip of the branches and leaping, arms spread wide, off the edge. He let himself fall a few feet before ducking and rolling in midair so that he landed nimbly on a branch of the next tree, much closer to the ground now. Ths, of course, caused the trees to sway and leaves to shake, but he was still on the move, gripping the bark of the new trunk and sliding to the ground, where h got a good view of the strangers a couple yards away from him before he was running again, making a dash or it. He doubled bak on himself, still intensely curious about these people, and ducked into the shadows. He liked his lips, prepared t use his uncanny talent of speech to his advantage f he was per sued or discovered.

Chris's eyes widened. "Are you okay?" he asked, stifling a chuckle. He was still wary of strangers, as he had been in much solitude over the past years, but he took a wary step closer. This girl seemed harmless, except for the fact that the way she dressed was obvious that she belonged to the King's court and servants.

Sam regulated his breathing, his usual confidence returning as he reached for his dagger. He was an incredibly skilled fighter, and he could defend himself quite easily if needed. The dagger was cool in his palm; he clenched it between his teeth and began to scale the tree into the higher branches in silence. The only slip on his part was he flushed a pair of ravens, and they took off crowing into the air, giving him away.

"Yeah fine I guess. Pride's a little hurt but it doesn't matter." Saya looks down as he can tell that it was more than the fall that hurt. "Um do you know where the Hood is?"

Chris stiffened. "Why do you want to know?" he asked, a bit too gruffly. Hearing about his former home pained him a little bit.

"I wanted to know if they would allow me to stay or if I would be pushed away there too." Saya said looking down.

Chris felt bad for the girl. "Can you cook? R clean, hunt, or fight? If you can provide them a service I'm sure they will let you stay. They are nice people." he paused, looking her over. "I'm Cole," he told her, dsquiing his name in case she was a sy or the King.

"I can cook, would you like to see?" Saya asked with a smile.

Chris smiled back, feeling a little bit more confident that the girl was not the kind of person that would betray you. Instead of answering her question, he asked one himself. "What's your name?"

Emerald smiled, his words making the butterflies in her stomach come back. His voice was like music to her ears. "Good. I don't think I would be able to cope either." she replied quietly. She opened her mouth to say something but thought better of it. Instead she smiled a little bigger and then grabbed his hand, leading him into the kitchen. "Come help me with breakfast. If you're gonna stay you gotta help out too."
