This just... irks me, for some reason. -.-
Basically, the deer is crossing over from autumn to winter, so his brown color is 'dripping' off. o3o"
It looked SO much better in my head. Eh. I'm pretty pleased with the deer, though. Maybe it's the dripping that's irking me? So I might get rid of that and see how it looks.

I like this, the colour dripping off it like paint is really a nice idea, I adore the background also.

Perhaps what's irking you is shading? Or perhaps you should put more paint on the deer?

I really like this, however the paint does irk me too.

I think, for me at least, it's not a smooth transition with the way you're making the paint move. In my mind there should be more lines of qhite and brown intermingling to have a smoother transition and there should probably also be some more brown pooled at the feet and more splattere in the snow. :]

wow! this is very very cool. there are some deer living in my woods, and i do really think that the buck is whitish-tan. noone believes me. this immediately reminded me of him <3 deer are also my favorite animal, and i cannot draw them, so i really appreciate this <333
