"Just like that?" Rose asked. "Your going to kill me? Now?" Her tone was somewhat mocking.

"No! Don't touch her." Simon growled angrily. He knew he only was carrying a small dagger, but no mad person would harm rose.

Max nodded, his eyes devoid of emotion. "Unless you join me, or leave for the foothills and never come back. I willl let you go now, but if I ever see yours, or his face again I will kill you. ANd if you let my secret slip, I will track you and hunt you down. Understood?"

Rose glared at Max. "Were staying in town, no matter what." she said, her voice firm. "And I have no reason to tell anyone your petty secret," She hissed, "because it's the worst idea I've ever heard."

Max raised his arrow to point at her. "No. I'm killing you then. And I think you'd be surprised by how many people have been willing to join. Leave now, and don't show your face to me. Or you and your friend die."

Rose turned away and marched down the hill, not waiting for Simon. Once she was out of Max's view, she and Simon started to run... towards town. Simon was fast, but Rose was faster. They sprinted towards town.

((Rose and Simon are talking to Max, Natasha and Tika are talking with Edward, and I'm about to have Daniel run into Matilda.))
Also roaming the corridors of his home was Daniel. Turning down a passageway, he saw his younger sister. "Matilda!" He called to catch her attention.

Matilda turned around and saw Daniel calling to her. She gave him a small smile and walked towards him. " Hi Daniel, you were looking for me?" she asked hopefully. This was very interesting for a trapped princess like her.

He returned her smile. "Just wandering around. It gets so boring here." He said.

"I know. It's crazy in here. It just makes you want to run away," she blurted. After realising what she said, she clamped her mouth shut with her hands. "Not really, I mean. It's just a figure of speech," she quickly added, trying to cover up her little slip.
