Ravenpaw blinked his green and gold-streaked eyes, looking ahead to where Flamefoot had sped off to. He twitched his ears back, and looked to the leader and other patrol cats, having not gotten hurt because he had not joined in the fight. No, he twas not fearful, but the apprentice merely did not appreciate the fact that he had been dazed by the sudden movement of it all. Apparently, he had not gotten the plan in, and besides, he was, after all, distracted by the different scents of the forest, unusual for him. He turned to face what was left of the patrol, and flicked his tail, curious as to what the leader would oppose to Flamefoot's depart.
Shadepaw, meanwhile, was just padding forth from her nest, peeking out at the clan clearing. She tilted her head ever so slightly, copper eyes ablaze with curiosity and wonder. She watched the clan bustle about, and thought about her brother, and how he was doing out in the forest with other cats, the leader being one of them..that didn't really bug her though, and she turned her head back to her nest, contemplating what to her was more important matters. Food being one of them, Shadepaw padded out to the clan clearing, but stopped short only 2 to 3 mouse-lengths away from the apprentice den entrance. She recalled how elders and others should be fed first, and began to return to the den. Once inside, she layed down in her nest, before sitting up, more comfortable.
In the beginning there was Squiddy...
Squiddy said, Let there be Tess, and it was so.
He said, Let there be Nick, and it was so.
Squiddy made the Adoptables, and it was good.
He created the Forum, and it was good...
He said to Nick and Tess, "Go forth and tend to your site. Bring many young eager minds to our fold."
Praise be to Squiddy!
