Chris heard yelling and turned, his curiosity getting the better of him as he made his way through the forest. He stepped into sunlight, blinking, to see a young girl sitting on a horse. "Are you lost?" he guessed, amusement tinting his voice.

Saya yelps and falls off the horse with a groan. "Ow, yeah." She said sitting up and rubbing her face. "That so hurt."

Emerald's skin tingled at his touch. She had let her eyes close long ago and now only saw with her heart. She wrapped her arms tighter around him, letting herself melt into him. Everything felt perfect at the moment. She forgot about all those lonely nights wishing Frank was beside her, it didn't matter now. Because right now, he was.

Frank smiled and took a step back, still holding Emerald and rested his chin on her head "Ive missed you, so much Em....i...i love you" he said a small lump growing in his throat as he did so, his eyes clamping shut.

Adailia jumped as a loud crack came from above, her yellow eyes darted upwards to the tree line as she jumped to her feet and Uther cantered next to her snorting loudly and she unsheathed her sword from his saddle, standing her ground firmly "Anyone there?!" she called shakily.

Chris's eyes widened. "Are you okay?" he asked, stifling a chuckle. He was still wary of strangers, as he had been in much solitude over the past years, but he took a wary step closer. This girl seemed harmless, except for the fact that the way she dressed was obvious that she belonged to the King's court and servants.

Sam regulated his breathing, his usual confidence returning as he reached for his dagger. He was an incredibly skilled fighter, and he could defend himself quite easily if needed. The dagger was cool in his palm; he clenched it between his teeth and began to scale the tree into the higher branches in silence. The only slip on his part was he flushed a pair of ravens, and they took off crowing into the air, giving him away.

Adailia jumped again and backed away shivering slightly "Show yourself!" she stammered, extremely frightened and quickly mounted Uther, and backed him up, peering up to the top of the trees.

Matthew had now placed everythign he owned back into his satchel, which he had put back on his back. It was in that instant, when he was about to relax, calm and collected at last, that a snap rang out from above. Shortly followed by a fluster of birds and a droping of feathers. the cawing of the ravens alerted Matthew as to the approximate position of the over-head stalker. His bow and arrow was alreayd at the ready and pointing to the spot where he assumed the intruder to be.His aim was off, by that I mean he wouldn't hit the man if he were to shoot, but at least he was close enough.

Emerald left her eyes closed and her arms wrapped around Frank. She came back to reality after a few seconds, her lungs screaming for air. She took in a deep breath and smiled. She leaned her head on his chest. Her eyes went hot with the threat of tears as he spoke. She had been waiting so long to hear those words again. "I love you too." she replied, her voice a hoarse whisper.

Frank chuckled "Good, otherwise this would be really awkward" he said with a shrug and released his grip slightly backing up and he began to cough, he quickly stumbled over to grab a jug of water and downed it quickly "Sorry 'bout that" he said with a lopsided smirk.

Emerald giggled, the tears becoming a bigger threat. She was so overwhelmed with joy. "I agree. Good thing it's not" She giggled again as she watched him. "It's alright." she said. "You should really see a doctor about that." she suggested, only half joking.

Frank shrugged "Seen too many, nothings worked so ive given up" he answered optimistically with a small shrug "Anyway, since ive been back i feel alot better, especially around you" he said pointing towards her as he spoke.
