Blacklight stepped forward, touching noses with Rayfell, and then stared at Evanlyn, saying nothing. He looked back to Rayfell. "For you, I won't fail." he told his new alpha. He glared at Parthurnax. "And you... you can be healer." Just don't kill us.
Blacklight was about to say something else when he suddenly smelled something. Something familiar, that he didn't like. However, it seemed like it was a bit distant, so he said nothing about it.

Evanlyn jumped and spread her legs out, striking a pose with one foot up. "then I'll find something to hunt!" she said, bolting off the way she came. This time she caught the rabbit and brought it back putting it down by the others "sorry, but there's mostly rabbits here..." she said, upset about how small and punny it looked.

I blushed slightly when he touched my nose, but I smiled at him. "I won't fail you either." As Evanlyn walked back with the rabbit, I smiled. "It's fine, it's still meat. It doesn't matter how big or small it is."

Parthurnax smiled akwardly and fell slowly to a sitting position "I'll try it on myself first if I must... Considering I am kind of rusty" he sighed, no way he could keep this act up forever mostly because of how annoying they all were except Blacklight who's confidence intrigued him.

"it's still not much though..." Evanlyn sighed, pushing it toward Parthurnax "you can have it" she said, looking up at the healer with serious eyes. Then she turned to the alphas "I'll catch something for you later"

I smiled at Evanlyn. "Thank you. That would be nice..." I turned to Blacklight. "So shall we set out?"

Blacklight nodded. "Yes, we should set out soon." He smelled the air again. "But... Rayfell, Parthurnax, Evanlyn... do you smell something... odd?"

Evenlyn closed her eyes and sniffed the air, then she frowned. "yeah... Im not sure. I think I have smelled something like this before" she murmured, looking around her.

I sniffed at the air as well, and it smelled a bit odd. I didn't like it. "I'm not sure what it is, but it's not good.."

Parthurnax sniffed around for a moment and nodded "I'm not sure what it is, but it would be worth checking on would it not?" while he waited for their reply he looked at the rabbit Evanlyn had given him, he didn't really want it but he took up the offer anyway to keep his act up.
