Some say the world will end in fire
Others say in ice
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire
But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice
~Robert Frost
But those who say they'll die in fire
Hold no contempt for the darkness
That drifts between both ice and fire
Fuels both hate and desire
When destruction does embark
I'll settle myself in the dark Ƙαιи & Ƙσℓɛ

"Let's not and say we did."
As the girls moved away, already, Kole could feel his fangs receding. Phew, what a relief. His twin's shoulders relaxed a little and Kole loosened his grip. The smell was still in the air, but the bleeding girl was all the way on the other side of the porch. Out of reach and harder to get to. Also, the fresh smell of blood that was on her was gone. Good. She was far enough away. The stale smell of blood in their wouldn't trigger anything more. The Vampire blood-hunger faded and Kain leaned against the railing of the porch. "Christ." he muttered, letting out a breath. Kain looked up as Stark spoke. "Hold on." he said lowly. He took a deep, calming breath and then glanced at Kole. "The kitchen." he suggested. Kole nodded. He looked at Stark. "We'll have to be in the kitchen before you take her up." he said, motioning to the door and how close they were to it. The ice was still holding them in place, yes, but if the girls walked by them, both would be within grabbing reach. Kole swallowed. He didn't even want to think about that.

Would you believe me
If I told you I was different?
How would you react?
I think I have a guess
So let's keep this between you and me
Unless...

You want your life to end?
A full moon is all I need
To bring out the beast in me
You can run and run
But I will still find you
If I go down so will you
In the bitter end Δκαиɛ Иʋмαяι
"Watch your back."
So they were not fully Vampires. I was only a little surprised. I'd heard of such a thing before, but had never witnessed it. It seemed that half-Vampires had a lot more control over themselves. Well, that was helpful. I don't think any of us would appreciate being on the menu tonight. Stark said that I should take Sarina up and get her cleaned and patched up. Good idea. Just one teensy little problem. To get inside and up the stairs, I'd have to walk right past the half-Vampires. Not a good combination, I think. As if they had read my mind, the twin Vampires spoke. Yep. They completly agreed. They should clear out before I take the winged girl anywhere. I glanced at the said girl. She had lost quite a lot of blood. "Hey, you alright?" I shook her gently. She seemed dazed. I could assume why. If I was about to be snacked on by two hungry-looking half-Vampires, I'd be shocked, too. If I were human, that is. But I wasn't human and neither was Sarina. She'd have to toughen up if she planned on surviving. Did she even want to live, though? "Sarinaaaaaa." I said, waving a hand in front of her face.
