Apperance: Katherine is a small, lithe young woman. Her body type evokes images of a ballerina, willowy and light. She is flexible and lean. Katherine's skin is a pale cream-colour, her complexion unaltered by blemishes, except for a few, moonlight-coloured scars that are difficult to see.
Katherine's features make one think of faeries; they capture a simple, pure beauty. She has a small, pert nose and high cheekbones. Katherine's lips are a pale rose with a soft cupid's bow and full lower lip. Her eyes are a bright, winter blue, full of knowledge beyond her years. Katherine's hair is long and dark -- chocolate brown -- usually tied back in a messy braid.
Katherine's clothes are decided based on functionality, not fashion. Her most common outfit is a slim-fitting black t-shirt, slim dark-denim jeans, and worn, scuffed, military-issue
combat boots. Katherine has no need of makeup, though she will be seen with ebony eyeliner quite frequently. She carries a forest green
canvas bag.

Personality:Katherine, at first glance, is seen as a shy recluse. She rarely speaks to those that she does not know, and it can be difficult to gain her trust. Katherine requires time alone to recuperate, even sending away her trusty guardian for hours on end so she can rest without worrying about the demands others put on her soul.
Once you know her better, Katherine become exhuberant and chatty. Although she will still have random periods of silent thinking, even with others, she tries to lively and a joy to be around. Her seriousness can sometimes permeate interactions, leading to some confusion and even hurt for others, although Katherine doesn't mean to be harmful.
Katherine is strong-willed and opinonated. She can easily take a leadership role, though she doesn't like to follow at all. Hierarchy is something she depsises, and Katherine would rather have all members of a group be equal rather than squabbling for power or control. She prefers close-knit groups, or even working alone, rather than large operations.
In battle, Katherine will fight to the death. She is fearless and determined, albeit usually quite rash, which can get her into trouble when she tries to go into an ill-matched fight. Katherine excels in agility and stealth, and tries to outwit her opponents rather than overpower them with strength and show.

Gabriel is tall, and muscular, with broad shoulders, strong arms, and a deep chest. His figure is imposing and soldier-like, a living symbol of strenth. His skin is tanned lightly from earlier years of working outdoors. Many gruesome scars mark his flesh, including one on his left brow and the bridge of his nose. He has many burns, scars, and calluses on his hands.
Gabriel's features are staunchly masculine yet handsome in a ruffian way. He has a strong jaw and brow. The planes of his face are remotely angular yet still strong in their manner. Gabriel's hair is a light brown, combed away from his face. His eyes are a greenish-grey, steeled with war and memory.
Gabriel wears neutral colours, mostly grey, and has an affinty for wool coats and flannel button-up shirts. His pants are chosen for mobility, and he wears steel-toe boots. When Katherine and Gabriel are on the run, he is tasked with carrying a rucksack of their belongings.

Although Gabriel may seem to be a "brawn before brains" type, he is actually quite intelligent, and thinks a lot before he acts. Underestimating his knowledge can be a fatal mistake, as he is quite calculating. Gabriel doesn't hesistate, however, to let someone know that he doesn't like them. Which would be nearly everyone, save for a small elite few.
In regards to Katherine, his assigned charge, Gabriel can be very defensive and possesvie to a point of encumberence. He doesn't understand the concept of symbolically smothering someone, and disregards personal space and privacy. Gabriel doesn't mean to be invasive; it's just his nature. He really cares for Katherine's well-being, and that is his weakness.
Gabriel has no reservations about killing, as that was what he was trained to do. If someone threantens him or something important to him, he will not hesistate to quickly and swiftly eliminate said threat. In fighting, he selectively uses brute force on weak areas to quickly annihilate a target without allowing opprotunity for retaliation.
