Frank glanced down over at Emerald, turning towards her and raising a brow "And how would one fix one that is slightly cracked?" he mocked with a small chuckle, folding his arms across his chest.

Emerald couldn't help it now. She grinned and giggled. "Oh I don't know." she joked with a shrug. "Maybe a kiss would help." she replied, butterflies in her stomach. She was almost shaking from the nerves, her heart pounded in her chest. She couldn't help it. She felt like it was the first time they had met.

Frank smirked and strolled up to Emerald, his bright blue eyes never leaving hers as he leant down into her face, his natural grin playing on his lips "Go on then " he whispered in a slightly raspy yet intense voice, his hands still clamped around his chest.

Emerald smiled and had a little trouble on breathing. She lent forward, pressing her lips against his. She wrapped her arms around his neck. She felt on top of the world, that empty spot filled at last. Every good feeling came flooding over her, the butterflies in her stomach went away and was replaced by that feeling of absolute joy. She had waited for this moment for so long and here it was.

Frank smirked and returned the kiss, placing his hands onto her waist, his eyes clamped shut as he sunk into Emeralds body. He had missed her so much but things had gotten between them, that was until now in the very moment he felt strongest.

Saya began to sing to calm her nerves that were about to get the best of her.

Emerald's skin tingled at his touch. She had let her eyes close long ago and now only saw with her heart. She wrapped her arms tighter around him, letting herself melt into him. Everything felt perfect at the moment. She forgot about all those lonely nights wishing Frank was beside her, it didn't matter now. Because right now, he was.

Sam froze as the branch he was on made a loud snapping sound, and he quickly backed up until he was closer to the trunk. It didn't break, but he hoped the travelers hadn't noticed. They were both awake now, and he shrunk back until he was hidden in shadow. He let the leaves spring back to become a barrier between him and the strangers, drawing his hand back a moment too late.
