Esmeralda had by then returned to her room. "Who is it?" She called softly, sitting bolt upright on a chair. She still has the brush in her hand, for she had been brushing her hair. A purple satin and cream embroidered gown lay on her bed, untouched.

Rose finished her drink. "Do i have to drink this?" She gagged. "This stuff is foul!"

Simon shrugged. "Wanna be a man, act like one."

Ro glarred at him. "I'm outa here."

Ella raised an eyebrow at the two men's conversation. It didn't make sense to her. She began to fiddle with the loose leather at the end of her dagger's handle, the blade catching the light and gleaming like a cat's eye.

Rose stared at Ella's weapon. She gaped, then yelled; "This peasant has a weapon!" Very loudly.

"Seriously, Ro?' Simon asked, then pushed her outside.

"What? She might have attcked us!" Rose protested indignantly. "Yeah, and we woulldn't be able to defend ourselves, would we?" He said.

The woman kicked his shin and stomped away. "You want me to give us away?!" She yelled angrily.

Bella sat, a lonely figure on the castle grounds. She was in the meadow, sitting by a tree on a large rock. The beautiful princess sang softly, absentmindedly thinking of escaping with some handsome prince of some sort. How nice that would be.
