Frank smirked "Same as usual?" he questioned frowning deeply "You still look shattered?" he added with a slight tone of worry as he spoke. He still cared for Emerald and his feelings ran deep, over the years they had grown and twisted.

Emerald nodded, about to say something. "Yup. The usual." she said avoiding the question. She looked up at him, slightly annoyed about his shattered comment but it all melted away as she looked into his eyes. She was speechless for a brief moment but quickly regained her footing. "I'm not shattered." she replied, her voice soft though she tried to make it strong. She suddenly felt self conscious about all her scars and she crossed her arms, trying to hide them. "That was a different me. I've changed."

Frank smiled at her answer but it faded as he watched her movements "Why have you changed?" he said reaching out to her arm as he noticed her fidgeting "Em?Whats up?" he asked seriously.

Emerald bit her lip and looked down at her booted feet, butterflies in her stomach. "I..." she started. "I'm different. I'm happier." she said. "For the most part. I don't cry myself to sleep like I used to for example." She looked back up at him. "I'm not shattered. Just...slightly cracked."

Sam hadn't slept much that night, as he prefered to travel by night, but this time he had let let himself doze just slightly in the branches of the tree. When he woke again, it was mid-morning, and he heard noises that meant the strangers were waking up. He brushed aside the leaves again to watch the girl, wondering what two travelers were doing all the way out here.

Lyra hoped and prayed that she would be accepted. She thought about about the note she had left the King. "He would have me killed." She said with a sniff then rode on.

Matthew and his horse had fallen asleep together and were now companionably huddled together. Matt slowly woke up, his horse still slumbering as he carefully and quietly gather some of his strewn belongings.

Frank smirked at Emeralds comment "Well, can i help fix you completely then?" he asked with a slight hiccough and a shrug of his shoulders, hunching over slightly as he leant against the wall.

Adailia watched sleepily as Matthew moved around, her eyes slowly gazed around as she yawned loudly. Uther had rejoined the camp and happily graze away near the make shift shelter.

Saya rode through the forest with a yawn not sure how close she was.

Emerald gave a small smile, trying not to giggle. "Possibly." she said, taking a half step closer. She looked up at him and her smile grew a little bigger, she tried holding it back from becoming a full out grin. She knew the answer was yes.
