"It's okay, I'm not going to make them stop floating." Marina turned around, brushing her hair out of her eyes. "It's good practice." She smiled softly, as to not frighten Ellie. "We sure pulled one over those stupid scientists, huh?"

Ellie's eyes glowed happily when she heard the good news, slowly moving towards Marina and nodding. "I don't like the scientists," she proclaimed softly, her brown eyes wide. "I'm glad I followed you here..."

Maika watched as Jackson went off to who knows where. She felt kind of bad for lowering the mood of Ellie, but she was glad that her mood changed when Marina said she wound continue to make the brownies float around. I guess I'll go find a room to change into a bedroom or something... she thought as she headed off into the ship to find a room. It wasn't long until she found one she was fairly fond of, and decided that she would decorate it or something later.

After finding the room, Maika went back over in the ship to where Marina and Ellie where. "Do you have any paper or something here...?" she asked, looking at Marina.

Marina nodded. "We don't like them either. Good thing Jackson has that connection with machines, right? All he had to do was ask the ship to get us out." She played around with the brownies, making them float around into shapes for Ellie.
She realized that Maika had asked her something, and made a cabinet roll out, containing the paper. "This is the pantry, but it has a bunch of different things."

Ellie nodded slowly, watching with wide eyes up at the floating brownies, smiling wide and reaching her little arm up to see if she could intercept the flight of one with her fingers. When Maika returned to the room, she turned her head, blinking just a little and then smiling when the cabinets opened. "Marina can find anything she giggled proudly, hurrying to the cabinet to pull out a sheet of paper for her.

"Thank you~" Maika said happily as she went over to Ellie and gladly took the paper from her. After getting the paper, she then went over and sat down in a chair on the ship. She then started messing around with the paper, trying to make something. At first, she was just randomly folding it, but after a while it turned out to be a paper rose (just with different colors).
"I thought I had forgotten how to do this.... but oh well." Maika said as she inspected the paper rose.

After handing Maika the paper, Ellie blinked, watching her move to the table. Every instinct she had told her not to follow, and that humans were bad, but when she started making something pretty out of the paper, her urges to see took over, and the seven-year-old quickly pattered over. Peering up with her hands grasping the side of the table, she fell into awe for the little rose, smiling wide. "It's so pretty..." she cooed, blinking wide-eyed up at Maika.

Maika looked at Ellie looking at the paper rose and smiled. "It's not as pretty as the real ones though..." she said. "You can have this one if you want it though." She then handed the small rose to the little girl, and looked at her for a while. "Your just so cute!" Maika said and then all of a sudden hugged the little girl. Maika always had a weakness for cute things, whether it was a rabbit, or a little girl.

Ellie smiled happily and nodded. "I like the real roses! They smell so yummy and pretty--" She cut off when Maika handed her the paper, and she let go of the table to hold it, opening her mouth to say thank you but being cut off when arms wove around her, her eyes widening in surprise. "O-oh--" she whimpered softly, her eyes flickering to Marina as if not knowing what to do.

Maika pulled back, realizing that she must have scared the heck out of the little girl. "He, I'm sorry...." Maika said, her hand on the back of her head. "I have a weakness for cute things." Maika then stood up as she considered decorating her room now. However, she decided against it and then sat back down at the table she had been sitting down at a second ago, and started to do Origami once again.
