Miri smiled, ran down, then stopped right in front of the strangers. She said to the girl, "Hi! I just KNEW there was someone else besides me and everybody in that cave!" Then she saw her friend. She stopped, stared, then smiled and said, "Hi... I'm Miri." She held out her hand for him to shake.

Gaia smiled, happy to have some company now besides her brother, who's puns about snow over the past week had gotten extremly annoying. "Hi. We were thinking the same thing. It's been awile since we have seen other people." As she finished speaking she noticed that her brother seemed a bit off. Not totally unlike himself but there was something with the way he held himself that suggested he was trying to act differant.

Murki took her hand and shook it, a nervous expression on his face. He hadn't spoken to anyone besides his sister in the longest time. So finding any new person was surprising to him,. But she seemed welcoming and that was enough for him to take in a sigh of relief. "Hi Miri. I'm Murki and this one here is Gaia." He froze for a brief moment before starting to speak again. "You are with others? Like my sister said it's a relief to find other people. Thank you for the kind greeting as well." He didn't want to exactly throw it out there that he was an Earthbender and instead just went quiet afterwards.

Miri blushed and looked down as his hand touched hers. She could feel his heart beat getting a little faster, a little more jumpy. "Yea, there are other people here, but they don't seem to notice me." She shuffled her feet as she said this. "So, what Nation are you two from?" She asked, trying to make small talk and get them to loosen up a bit.

Gaia recoiled by her brother's side, trying to sink into the background as much as possible. She didn't want to screw anything up. But it was getting difficult, considering how wierd Murki was acting. There were so many puns she could have come up with. They had to find other people and she couldn't just ruin that for a few moments of enjoyment, When he brother was still not speaking up she albowed him slightly and discretly.

Murki jumped slightly as he felt his sister's arm whack him in a soft manner in the ribs. "Oh...yes. The nation we come from...." It was pretty apparent that they could trust this girl now. If they coudn't they probably still wouldn't still be where they were. So it seemed like it was just fine to tell her where they were from. "My sister and I gre-up in the Earth Kingdom. You?"

May pricked her ears, realizing that there were a couple of new voices, and that the violin had stopped. She paused, frowning, before stopping her bending. She turned on her heel as she allowed the water to shoot back into her pouch. She saw a couple of strangers. Blinking, Maya walked towards them and Miri. "Hi," she said, tilting her head slightly, not really good at all when it came to introductions. She held out her hand all the same, and added, "I'm May."

Miri glanced at May, shook her hand and said, "I'm Miri." Then she turned to Murki and said, "Your an Earth bender? I am too! Cool." She looked at Gaia, smiled, then turned to May and did the same. She turned to look at Murki, and their eyes locked. She smiled, then tore her gaze away.

Kaia grinned at the others as Tom and Cioke introduced themselves to each other. She turned back to Hana and began to finish up grooming her. When she was done she took a step back and smiled. "There all better!" Kaia turned towards Marina, Tom and Cioke and said "Well, I can tell Hana is anxious to get flying so do you mind if we fly out for a little while? We'll come back don't worry." Kaia grinned at them before she picked her glider up from the ground.

Tom said "can I come with, Ive always wanted to see what it is like up inm the sky."

Marina motioned for Cioke to follow her. She led him behind the cave, her heart beating in her chest. She turned to him, and asked. "Why havent you told them yet?" she asked softly, her bright blue eyes shining against the white snow. "I want to join you on your quest for peace, but they need to know. They need hope." she said quietly, a tear running down her face. "You are the only one i have met who could ever give me hope. They need to know who you really are." she whispered, her voice full of pain.

((Dramatic moment. duh duh DUUUUHH!!))

Murki shook May's hand, dipping his head as if silently greeting her. "Nice to meet you as well May. I am Murki and she is Gaia," he added, motioning to Gaia. He couldn't help but wonder how many times he would have to repeat that greeting. How many people were going to apear out of that cave? Murki tried to hide it but he didn't want to know for some reason. "It's nice to met a fellow Earthbender. Though my sister does not bend." As he spoke he could notice Gaia glare blankly at him and he struggled not to smirk and make up some kind of joke. Sometimes Gaia made it too fun to annoy her.

Thanks for pointing it out right out of the blue Murki, Gaia thought as she snuggled her head deeper into the blue parka that she had worn for quite some time. He made her sound useless in a way. And of course she disliked that feeling. Gaia knew that deep down there was someone who could fight her battles herself. Hopefully one day it would show itself so Murki would stop treating her like she was five.

(Maybe....though I don't guarentee anything because I really like to mess with my characters. )
