Gwen saw something fall out of a nearby tree, and her heart sank lower. Maybe she should just say away from people in general...
She managed to run over to the tree to see what had happened, finding Dani lying at the base of the tree badly injured. "Oh, God..." Gwen mumbled. She pulled Dani back to where Jess was, and then took out her phone, again calling 911. She felt even worse now, having to call twice in one week...

Gwen hung up the phone as she finished speaking with the dispatcher. She panicked, looking at the two bodies. She could already tell Jess was dead, and she again started to cry as she stared at the body of her friend. She brushed some hair out of her face, and closed her eyes. She then turned to Dani, and shook her gently so she wouldn't try to injure her more. "Hey! Are you okay?"
