Dear Diary,

Oh. There it is. They put my hat in my bag. Apparently I'm very unobservant. Alright, but apart from that, Emmett is going to tell me about Zak's "plan" thing, I guess. Let's write this down.

"Okay, Gabby. It's time we explain. See, Luki here has a special ability. If he chooses to, he can see anybody's furture but his own. I had been feeling very strange whenever I was around you, and so I asked Luki to take a look. He told me he saw you, at that video store. I tought nothing of it; until he told me he saw a three-tail around you. Then, I- I followed you. I didn't think you needed to get hurt.

At the video store I parked my van outside, so I could save you if I needed to. I heard him coming down the street, ready to burst in there and take you. That's when I grabbed you and your friends. When you where all in that metal room and Luki said your friends weren't the point, he meant they had never been in danger; they were just there with you.

When we set you free in the forest with the choice of running or becoming one of ours, we had no idea there was a fence. No idea at all. The reason I wanted you to be like us was so he couldn't hurt you, because I knew he would eventually. But then you got out into River Grove. That's when you met him at the Cafe place.

When he was showing you around, it was indeed me behind you all. I had to get you back. Then he shoved you into his basement." Well then why did you pull a gun on me? "The gun was fake. I needed to get him to try to protect you, so I could get him upstairs again and take him down.

Later when Storm took you," Storm just stepped forward. "He was bringing you back here. That place you stopped was a temporary camp we set up a long time ago. But you took everything the wronge way, and escaped again.

Then after you'd escaped, I sent Luki out to look for you. You saw him and took off. When I found you, you attacked me. Zak had indeed been looking for you, but not in a good way. He never asked Storm for help; Luki texted him that -in a case of mistaken identity- Zak was attacking you. He couldn't see well enough to know if was me. So storm reacted naturally, and Zak took you again. Back at his house, he was just getting ready to kill you.

Instead, I got there just in time to save you. That's why you're here. And as long as Zak is still out there, we can't let you out of our sight."

Dear Diary,

Ugh. I haven't seen sunlight in three days. SAVE ME ALREADY! -sigh- Storm keeps, um, hitting on me. It's kind of creepy, to be honest with you. Don't get me wrong, I apprecaite them trying to keep me safe, but this is rediculous. Very rediculous. I kinda want to break out.

...Wait. Break out? I'm pretty good at that. I bet I could do it. But I'm not sure if I'd like to disobey a bunch of vampires. It's probably not worth the risk. Buuut, they are sleeping right now. I was fake sleeping just so they'd chill out a bit. I wonder if I could just sneek out. It couldn't be that hard, could it?

Hang on. What's that? Somebody's tapping on the window. Lemme look. Oh my dog. Really? Zak's out there. UGH. I just want things were back to the way they were. I just wish I could go home! Huh? Um. That's different. I'll explain later...
