After the 'ceremony' - as the Elder Demons liked to call it - the students who had been chosen were then lead from the school. This process was pretty lengthy and, if Halo was honest, a little over-dramatic - the organisers tried to make them wear stupid coats which were quickly incinerated by Blitz - but he was just thankful to be out of the school and in a zone where some forms of bullying weren't to be tollerated. Even though he was still frowned upon, the Elders had enough self control to keep it silent.
But this didn't mean that he was treated much better.
The students were lead into the Council Collumns where they'd all be sent off to their human towns and, as they were all split up, the Elder assigned to him regarded him with nothing short of disgust. He saw the shakey glance that Blitz had given him as she was lead away but she smiled and waved cheekily even when her Elder looked between them with annoyance. And disgust, of course.
Wandering down the ancient halls was a little nerve-wrecking as he thought of the things to come. The way that he would get into the human world was to simply step through a door. That was it. He'd be given a list of instructions to point him in the right direction then he'd be shoved through the door. He bit his lip as he walked, his gaze fixed on the hood of the Elder before him who'd made it clear to distance herself from him. He bit back the chuckle in his throat as they neared the door way and his heart began to beat even faster in his chest. Yeah, he was nervous. Yeah, this meant a lot to him. But he tried to keep it out of his posture and face, keeping everything stoic and blank. He glanced at the Elder when she paused beside the door, turning to face him with an equally blank expression. She then held out a hand that had a scroll in it, her oddly young-looking figures curled around it. He frowned slightly but stepped forwards to retrieve it anyway just as she pulled it away. He glanced at her in confusion.
"You will do this without," she said simply and he wished he could hit her. The shock must've been clear in his eyes when he saw the smirk on the Elder's face. She then titled her head slightly toward the door, motioning for him to step through.
With a sharp growl, Halo then moved toward the door and just as his hand fell on the handle, he glanced at the Elder and hissed the word, "Selfish hag," under his breath. The anger in her eyes was pretty immense but Halo simply smirked and stepped through the door.

The first thing that hit Halo as he walked through the door was the temperature drop. After living in a constant heat of around 30 degrees or more, suddenly dropping to anything lower is, well, a pretty big body shock. He tensed slightly at the cold but he then noticed the water falling onto his bare arms. He frowned; it was a pretty alien feeling. He glanced behind him to see only houses and the rest of the street he was stood on. His eyes lifted to the sky before narrowing when the water droplets fell onto his cheeks.
He felt himself shudder impulsively as he then glanced back down the rest of the street and began to walk. His footsteps seemed oddly loud on the tarmac and his dark brown hair had begun to stick to the back of his neck thanks to the rain that was falling down his back. His fists were clenched at his sides and he suddenly felt the the huge hit of what he was doing. He didn't even know where to start. Where was he supposed to find this damn kid anyway?!
Almost as if he'd spoken aloud, he heard faint footsteps nearby. His senses were suddenly hightened, he realised, when he glanced to find the source of the noise. Walking down the opposing side of the street was a boy, perhaps a little shorter than himself, holding what seemed to be some sort of umbrella. Halo was irritated by the fact the boy was wearing a hood; it would be a lot easier if the kid, Acelet or whatever, would just openly walked out and screamed his name. Halo closed his eyes and linked his hands behind his head. This was going to be a lot trickier than he'd hoped.
