[Morality]

Blacklight looked over at the smaller wolf who had previously crashed into him. She was giggling, looking happy.

I smiled at everyone. "Alright, so we're a pack, right? And Blacklight, I think you should be the leader." I nudged his shoulder with mine as I spoke.

[Ferven]

Evanlyn noded twice "I agree with Rayfall" she said before turning to Blacklight "unless you don't want to be leader... Then we would be in a fix." A flash of movement to her left drew her attention and she turned. The rabbit she had been chasing had come out of the hole and was hopping away. She felt a strong urge to go after it, but stayed. Even though she was starving, Evanlyn knew that staying would prove to be the better choice.

[Morality]

"L-leader?" Blacklight closed his eyes.
If I'm leader, that means I get to make all the decisions... even the tough ones... right? But.. what if I mess up? No, I won't... I have my... my pack, right? Right. I won't mess up. I won't. I will not. I... cannot.

I smiled as Evanlyn agreed with me. But as I turned to Blacklight, he looked worried. I ducked my head and leaned my head against his shoulder. I whispered, "Blacklight, you'll be a fine leader. If you need help, I'll be here by your side, alright?" I pulled back and huffed. "Alright, so what other positions do we need to fill? There's only a few of us here... So, maybe alpha female, scout, hunter... Things like that?"

(I know us 3 are actively RPing but how many others are still in it?)

Evanlyn walked up to Blacklight and sat down "you don't need to worry about anything. I trust you and will follow your decision. Everyone makes mistakes once in a while, you don't need to stress yourself out about trying to be a perfect leader." she said looking up at him "best you can be is plenty perfect! ... My mother used to say that to me when... Oh! Maybe I could be a hunter?" she was now looking at Rayfall.

((Hmmmm... well, out of all seven member, including myself, only us three really actually RP a lot. And the last time either Pseudonymous or Broken Blackbird RP'ed was... last Tuesday. Maybe I should send them a PM?))

Blacklight grinned a wolf-y smile at his best friend and new friend. "You think I'll be a good leader...?" he whispered quietly, then continued. "Ah, yes. Ranks. Alpha female might me a good idea," he tilted his head towards Rayfell, "and perhaps a scout or two and some hunters, yes. And maybe..." he thought for a second. "Maybe a wolf with knowledge of herbs and healing... things could be a healer? That might be a good idea, you never know what might come up on the island, you know. I've been attacked by a bear before, and somehow survived." He cringed at the thought of being attacked by a bear - when he was younger, he was attacked by bear, but was saved by a wolf he never saw again after.

I nodded at Blacklight. "Perhaps Evanlyn would be a good hunter and a healer is a must. We can just take turns scouting perhaps..." I was inwardly blushing. Did he want me to be Alpha female? I leaned closer and whispered, "Do you want me.. to be alpha female? Does that mean that we... would be..." I couldn't bring myself to say 'mates'... I mean, he was my best friend, and I liked him a bit, but.. still...

"I know stuff about herbs, not much though... I just know where they like to grow and the basics. Plus, I'm not good under pressure..." she trailed off as she realized what he had said about the bear He... He lived through being attacked by a bear? That's amazing... she thought in awe before continuing. "I'm fast but I'm not too strong. I don't really know what I'm good at"

"Like Rayfell said, I bet you'd be a good hunter." he told the red wolf. He then smirked at Rayfell. "Why not? ...well, if you want to be, of course..." he whispered back, trailing off.
