"Are you kidding me? I'd love to!" Ree exclaimed. "Did you see that? Jared just smiled at us..." She sighed and finished putting her books in the right places in her locker. She looked in the mirror at her reflection and noticed that her normally frizzy blonde hair (that she'd straightened about ten times today) was losing its straight-ness. She pulled it back in a low pony. "Can I make a stop home first, though? I need to check on Dad..." Her father was an alcoholic, and Ree needed to make sure he was still alive.

Adam
Figuring a walk couldn't kill him, Adam decided to walk home instead of bug someone for a ride. It wasn't like he lived that far away from school. He could probably walk home in fifteen minutes or so if he cut through the park, so he stuck his headphones in and began listening to Owl City songs on his iPod.
About halfway through the park, Adam realized too late that there was someone stopping occasionally to take pictures. BAM. Head-on collision. Adam's headphones rolled out of his ears, and the iPod fell out of his pocket. "Sorry, sorry!" he said loudly. "Wasn't watching where I was going."

Kimberly nodded, smiling at Hailey. "Yup, I want to get a cute dress before they all dissapear. Even if I don't go, I at least will know I had fun picking out my dress.." She stated, not really making much sense. Why would a person be happy even if they didn't go? She wasn't sure. But she was. Kimberly was a normally happy person. "So who's car are we taking?" She asked.

David chuckled, "Yeah I need to get a tux.." he admitted. His blue eyes flickered around, then returned to look at the two. "Uhh.. We could take mine?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow. His car was a big Range Rover, something that could easily fit them all. "What about you? Are you gonna get a dress?" David asked Hailey, a hopefull smile on his face.

Jared shook his head a bit before trying into his car and turning it on, he put the air con on and then reversed out of the car park before swirving around making a noise with the wheels of his car hitting the road. He turned his stereo on before putting the pedal to the metal and drivin out of the school parking lot and down to the beach. At least then he could think about things though he mainly wanted to surf and lay in the sun. He pulled up at the beach and got out going around to he back and taking his shirt off so it wouldn't get wet. He grabbed his surfboard and waxed it before putting it under his arm and shutting the boot hen running into he water.

Jamie grinned at [Ree, " Wow, you really are love struck for Jared, aren't you?" She said, teasingly. She laughed softly and pulled the other bag strap onto her shoulder. "Oh, by the way. I finally got my dress. I can show you that as well." She said, the smile slowly fell from her face. "Yeah, sure. I'll meet you later. Go check on your dad, It'll give me time to practice." She said, trying to put a better spin on her father's issues.

Grinning, Ree exclaimed "Really! 'Bout time. Can't wait to see it, Jamie." She sobered up quickly, remembering her friend's history. "Umm...I'll be over in like an hour." She was a bit nervous and was not at all looking forward to dealing with her father. Hopefully he was out.
