Shadowpaw bounded towards the clan meeting. Nehind him, his two sister were giggling and running at him. He smirked, and as Rainpaw and Desertpaw got close enough, he stuck his paw outin frontof them, causing them both to stumble. He laughed and shot on ahead, sitting in the middle of the gathering clan.

Desrtpaw scoffed and got back to her paws. She helped Rainpaw to her paws and the two slipped ib beside Shadowpaw. "Mousebrain" Desertpaw hissed quitely into his ear.

"Shadowpaw, Desertpaw, and Rainpaw," She meowed. "It is time for you to get your mentors."

Sandbreeze sighed. Great, more apprentices. He thought unenthusiastically

Rainpaw almost squealed with excitement, but managed to kep quiet. The three cats stood up and weaved through the crowd.

"Rainpaw, your mentor will be Goldenshine. Goldenshine, you are loyal and kind, I hope you can pass on your qualities to this apprentice," She meowed.

Rainpaw purred happily, barely able to control her excitement.

Sandbreeze shook as he said that. Loyal. Kind. His eyes poured over with sadness. He thought of how happy they would be that she had her very own apprentice! He got up and started to leave

"Desertpaw, your mentor will be Sandbreeze. Sandbreeze, you are brave and courageous, I hope you can pass on your qualities to this apprentice," She meowed.
