((I guess I'm in the cave with them... so...))
Miri had pretended to be asleep, but she couldn't. She was too frazzled to remember what had happened. She sat at the edge of the cave, or as close as she could get to it. She remembered how her grandfather had taught her how to earth-bend, and all the other things too. She remembered a lot of things, but the thing she remembered the most was a dream she once had. The dream was of her sitting on top of a hill; all the stars were out, the moon, big and bright, had risen slowly, and one melody had played. It was a violin song, and it was beautiful, haunting. When the song ended, so did her dream. For some strange reason, she heard this song played back in her mind, while she sat at the edge of the cave. Miri thought about her grandfather, Shuto, and how he loved that song. She thought,
That was his favorite song. I used to play it for him, when he wanted me to.One tear trickled down her cheek as she remembered her grandfather. She missed him so. She went back inside when she was tired again; she fell asleep hearing this song.
