Ree looked at Jamie, curious for a moment. "Really? Mind off prom? I thought a wonderful, amazing best friend like you would be flooded in offers." Then she shrugged. "Did I tell you I found a new band? Well, sort of a band. It's a guy who writes music and sings it...well, he does a lot of stuff. They're called Owl City." Ree watched as Jamie cartwheeled and walked on her hands around the gym. She'd always been jealous of her friend's agility and speed.

((I literally just screamed. My cat jumped up on my bed and her eyes were glowing...xD))

Jared smiled and walked over to his bag and getting the water out, squirting a bit in his mouth and shaking his head a bit. He noted that he would have to get into the surf after school like he always did though, the run was easy since he normally ran for longer periods and more distance. He moved over to some of the benches and took another drink though the water running down onto his shirt,he squirted some into his hair to try and cool down. He grinned and looked over at some of his friends before laughing slightly at them, "Guys, you up for the surf this afternoon?" he asked walking over to them. His eyes looked over to Jasmine and Ree slightly before looking back at his friends.

Jamie looked at Ree, " I didn't say i didn't have offers. BUt the guys that asked me were either idiots or complete tools." She said before smirking, " Jared was looking at you." She said giggling and flipping back onto her feet. "You should ask him to prom. You'd be cute together." she added, grinning.

Ree gasped in mock shock. "Jamie, it's prom! The guy always asks the girl! And he was so not looking at me." she said, laughing along. "All of them?" she teased. "No, don't answer that."
