Kaia took the coal Marina handed to her and grinned. "I'll say! I'm sure we'll have more than enough to last until the blizzard dies down! But I'm not really looking forward to returning...." Kaia trailed off as she remembered the look Tom was giving her when Marina first got up and walked away. Kaia stopped, put the coal down, reached up and took her ponytail out and let her dark brown hair fall to the middle of her back. The ponytail was than put around Kaia's wrist and picked the coal back up again.

Marina looked at Kaia. "you like Tom, don't you?" she asked, already knowing the answer. She smiled, glad she wasn't the only one with a crush. ((wow. Mine is really short. Bad writers block! slams head on bed))

Kaia's eyes widened at what Marina said and she quickly shook her head as she blushed. "N-No! That's so not true!" Kaia didn't want to think about liking someone and it was simply awkward for her since she never thought about romance at the Eastern Air Temple

Marina blushed, her face rosy in the light. "I-I've never felt this way towards anyone before. The way I felt towards cioke." she said quietly. "I don't really understand it all, but the feeling... It's there." she whispered, trudging on.

Kaia nodded as she thought back to how she felt when Tom stared into her eyes. It felt...strange she was sure of that, but she couldn't really describe the feeling. She felt as if she had butterflies in her stomach and she silently groaned. "Okay I know how you feel...I...I guess I might like him..." Kaia muttered the last part while her face lit turned a bright red color.

Marina nodded, her own turning red. "I want to go stick my head in a snowdrift to get rid of this blush..." she joked, half serious. As they got nearer, marina looked to kaia. "what was talked about in the cave, stays in the cave?" she asked, knowing Tom was close, as well as cioke.

Kaia's blush was beginning to die down and Kaia was thankful. She turned to Marina and nodded her head. "Yes! Airbender's honor!" Kaia joked as they neared their shelter for the night. Kaia took a deep breath and stepped into the 'room.' "We're back and we brought coal!" Kaia said to Cioke and Tom.

Tom heard Marina talking, but he couldn't make out the words. Tom thought to himself, Kaia is pretty ugh but she obviously hates me. Tom blushed, his blushing wouldn't go away.

Marina smiled, and set down the coal. She shivered, and sat down, leaning against Hana. She reached into her pack, pulling out a thick blanket, wrapping it around herself. She yawned, tired despite the cold.
