Marina smiled. "It's fine. I shouldn't say things like that. You were right." She smiled, and listened, quite interested, as Kaia talked about her Flying Bison, Hana. Marina longed to reach out and touch the soft, white fur, of the gentle giant. Marina softly gripped the side of the saddle, slightly worried that she would fall, gripping harder all the time, her knuckles starting to turn white as she started to get nervous.

Gaia flinched as she felt the winds start to pick up. In a way she had to squint her eyes just to be able to keep them from starting to tear up. "I swear just-" Before she could finish she noticed that her brother was running towards something. She couldn't tell what and only stared blankly at Murki as he tried to make his way through the snow. Even if it wasn't the proper time to bring such a thing up it did look amazing and for once if she hadn't been in a snowy plain she might have actually laughed. "Come here Gaia! I think I found something half-way decent!" She waisted no time in following her brother's voice. Could he have found shelter? "You better have checked before you got me interested in this," she muttered dryly as she stalked towards him, lifting her feet out of the snow to try to get a better stance.

Murki seemed like his normal self for once, a beaming smile crossing his face as he pointed towards the wall of snow in his way. "This doesn't look like normal snow. If it was it wouldn't be piled up like this unless it was for a reason." As he spoke he took his hand and started to wipe snow off of the large snow-covered object. His sister was still giving him a courious look as he continued on doing so and for a moment he was starting to wonder if this wasn't worth it. After a few more minutes of digging through snow his hand hit a hard object. "Thank goodness! Rock! I told you we would find something." For a moment his sister's expression was blank and then it light up with in a way the same happiness he had at the moment. "Do you think you could make a shelter with this? Just so we could rest for awhile?" Murki's eyes closed as he sighed and took another look at the rock. "Maybe. It's covered in snow though and I'm still not even close to being a good bender. If you want shelter from this is could be awhile until you get it." Gaia looked him directly in the eyes and forced herself to smile. "Come on then. I'll help you try to clear some of the snow while you start." He simply nodded and tried to focuse his attention on the area that had already been cleared of snow, hoping that he could remember some of the bending he had learned before he had left home.

Kaia smiled at May. " Thanks. I love being an airbender, I feel like that's truly what I was meant to be." Kaia's gaze became faraway as she relieved past memories of her airbending and all her friends praising her while her instructors silently disapproved. She shook her head and turned back to them. "Well I was raised in the Eastern Air Temple and it was truly beautiful. A sight to behold. It is filled with airbenders, both girls and guys, and they are constantly practicing their airbending. Many of the airbenders remain in the temple to help the young airbenders train, and when they're older the cycle repeats." Kaia's smile faltered slightly as she continued. "There are three different....structures and they are all built on three neighboring mountains. The mountains aren't that wide, but they are very good supports for the temples that we have." Kaia jumped to the reins on Hana and turned to the others. "You guys can pet her if you want. She loves new people, just be warned she may try to lick you...if you think that might happen than you should run away fast...trust me it's not a fun experience." Kaia laughed slightly before patting her head. "So which way are we heading?"

Marina smiled, glad to be of some help. "Away from the mountains. You're looking for a small enterence to a cave. It should be big enough for Hana to get through though. If not, Solumb and I can proboably make a shelter to keep her safe from the storm. Anyways, the cave has white crystals that blend in with the snow, but shine during blizzards, a beacon to guide lost travelers during storms. You can see them from just about anywhere on the Tundra." she said, smiling, while reaching out and petting Hana, feeling the soft fur beneath her fingers.

"She's so cute. I've always wanted one of these flying bison," Cioke told Kaia with a slight smile, glancing down at the white and brown fur. He stroked the side of the animal before pulling Maya up so they can at least leave this place. "We better leave quickly, or else we might get lost in this storm," the Avatar told the others, hoping that some other people weren't lost already in the blizzard. His eyes gazed over the snowy tundra that made up most of the Water Nations' homeland, feeling at hmoe in this deserted place. Ever since he was born, he's always loved it here, and would not imagine another place that he could feel at home like this. But then again, he has to be harsh to the Royal Bandits, who are mostly made up of his own kin.

Kaia nodded at Cioke and patted Hana's head a few times before saying, "Time to go girl." Hana lifted her tail and dropped it, causing her to lift into the air. Kaia followed Marina's directions and soon they were heading off towards the cave. In response to Cioke's last comment, Kaia said, "I love Hana. She isn't just a sky bison to me, she's my lifelong buddy. She's my closest friend. And not someone who'll mold me into what they want me to be." Kaia muttered the last sentence quietly and with a hatred only Hana knew of. They were flying through the air for a while when a light flickered to their right. Kaia's face lit up and she directed Hana over to it. "Is this it?" Kaia asked Marina.

Marina nodded, smiling in delight at the sheer beauty of the bright, shining lights shining upwards through the storm, a guiding light for lost travelers. "That's the star cave." she said, smiling then blinked. "At least, that's what i call it. It's like a guiding star to travelers during storms." she said. "That's actually how i found it. I was lost in a storm when i found it. I've trained there ever since." she said, smiling softly. Catching a handfull of snowflakes in her hand, she swirled them around, creating a small bracelet. With a snap of her fingers the bracelet shattered back into individual snowflakes, drifting behind them in the wind.

Kaia smiled slightly as Hana landed in front of the cave. "That's a good name. It fits perfectly!" She shot Marina a grin as she hopped off Hana. She lifted her hands up and the blizzard's intensity faltered a bit. "Alright everyone inside the cave before you freeze."

Marina jumped down from Hana, softly stroking the bison as a thanks before leading the way to the cave. Standing at the enterence, she laid her hands on the crystals, and smiling with confidence, motioned quickly and smoothly to make a wall to partially block the wind while the others scrambled inside.

Cioke smiled when they began to fly into the air, even though it was much more colder than he was on the ground. He then saw a magnificent sight while they were still flying up in the air, and he watched in wonder as they cave shone like a bright light in the blizzard. He was surprised that he could see it so clearly through the bad snow storm. The Avatar stayed silent as Marina and Kaia began to talk to each other, relieved that they were becoming friends. Cioke hopped off of Hana when they had landed, offered a hand to whoever needed help getting off the sky bison.
