A small grin flickered onto her lips as she drew the brand new game out, putting it into her computer as carefully as possible. She had to make sure she didn't scratch it or damage it at all. Wouldn't want anything bad to happen in-game. As she watched the screen begin to load, she opened her current chat and waited for her (hopeful) new friend to reply.

Saabir pursed his lips, his fingers flying across the keyboard. He has much experience with typing and such, even though he tried not to admit it he didn't have many friends. So he tried writing up poetry under a time limit, the poetry was horrible of course but his speed and accuracy got much better.

Saabir soon got swept along in Finity's excitement.

Saabir had already sent the message before he realized how stupid it was, and why was he typing in all caps? Seriously, sometimes he thought he was a little crazy.

Finity giggled softly at her new friend's unconstrained excitement. Putting two fingers over her lips and tapping them as if trying to figure out what to say, her eyes flickered over to her lusus perched in the corner of the room. Still asleep, she cooed softly in her sleep. Finity wouldn't need to get her food for another few hours, and watching the loading screen of her new game, a grin grew on her face, typing quickly in response.

Saabir was about to respond, but the game completed loading. He quickly typed up a reply.

IP: Mine just lo@ded!

He grinned and leaned back in his chair, linking his hands behind his head. Maybe he should look at some walk-throughs? He didn't have a problem with cheating if he won.

Finity's excitement grew as she watched the loading screen disappear. It was about time for her to start playing, and a nervous feeling arose in her stomach. She wasn't sure how to play. What if she messed up? What if things went wrong? She tried to shake the feeling as she watched the screen, her eyes wide and hands still on the keyboard.

Saabir grinned and quickly read through a quick summery of the game. He rubbed his hands together as if they were cold before sending a quick message to Finity.

IP: okay, so, do you w@nn@ be the client or server?

He wanted to be the client, the sever seemed like they did hard or logical stuff. He just wanted to make cool weapons or something.

Unfortunately, Finity began to feel the effects of staying up late the night before with her math practice and spending time with her lusus, and even though it must have been close to midday, her eyes fluttered closed. She sprung awake again, blinking rapidly at the screen. Now was no time for sleep. She had her game, and she had to play!

Saabir grinned from ear to ear, clearly joyful that he had first picks. Even though he had no idea what he was exactly getting into.

IP: i don't really know how to play either but,
IP: i guess i'll be a client.
Saabir was nearly jumping from excitment and his lusus was also swept away with it. Mkae frantic movements every second, getting in a rythme with Saabir.

Finity smiled at the screen, typing in a reply carefully.

Picking up the game carefully, she replaced the disc to install the game with the server copy, watching it load much more quickly then the one previous. She smiled in excitement, her fingers moving for a moment to the pencil next to her so she could continue solving the complicated equation on a sheet of paper in front of her.
