Felisfire: You Are The Scientist

Postby bae » Mon Dec 05, 2011 8:32 am

Scientists have discovered a scientifically-magical world inhabited by avian felines that never die.
You are a scientist hired for a breeding project, in this world called Felisfire. You have received six cryogentically frozen eggs to start your new colony. Explore the Felisfire world as your colony grows, collecting animals, plants, and artifact samples from the regions.
Will your colony flourish and grant you the title of Master Breeder?

Felisfire isn't like any other petsim out there. Not only can you breed your feli, you can genetically alter the child's appearance using DNA you've received from other users' feli or your own feli. You can put your inner-scientist to the test by creating complicated potions using hard-to-find items, potions that can change the appearance or even age of your feli! If you're lucky, when you're out exploring the icy tundra or the grassy fields, you may find a DNA patch, which can add a rare marking to your feli! You are given six Felidae eggs to start with, three females and three males, to start your breeding experiment. [Here is one of my starter feli below]:

Without the items a Felidae-type feli looks like this.
The Felidae is the most common breed found on the site, as they are the six starter feli eggs given out to all new members. They are easy to afford and easy to sell, and while they go for less than other breeds, it all depends on how they look. Additional Felidae eggs can be purchased for one orb, or around 1000en.

Above is one of the more expensive breeds, the Iuridon. While they tend to go for more energy [which is the site's currency], they are easy to obtain through hard work. Iuridon eggs go for ten orbs [an orb being around 1200en each] in the shop. Orbs are the site's special currency, costing 1 USD each, but don't worry if you can't afford one! Orbs aren't necessary to game play and can be purchased through user shops, if needed.
Image
Above is my favorite species, the Zerda. Zerda eggs are 2000en in the shops and are one of the common breeds. That doesn't stop them from being adorable, though! These cherub-like kittens can sell for huge amounts of energy.
Image
Do you like water? Then you'll love the Aquus! Aquus eggs also sell for 2000en in the shops and are a common species.
Image
The Xano is another one of my personal favorites. Sadly, Xano eggs are difficult to obtain as they are only given out in events, but not to fear! Many are sold in the feli marketplace for affordable prices! They are also obtainable through the referral system!
Image
Another common breed is the Chetae, which were recently released. Chetae eggs sell for only one orb in the mainshop, which is around 1000en. They are considered a common species and are affordable to all users!

Last , but not least, are the most recently added feli, the Igneo! Igneo sell for 5 orbs, or around 5000en, in the mainshop! They are fairly new and are considered the "Fire Feli" of the site.

Some things to know about breeding your feli:
⌂You can cross-breed feli and the child will carry their mother's/father's breed as a recessive gene and even carry markings that didn't pass over. I know that may sounds confusing, so here's an example.
I start off with a Xano and a Felidae, both are customs and both breed. Since the Felidae is the more common species, the child[ren] will be Felidae dominant, but will carry the Xano recessive gene. That means if one of them breed with another Xano, there's a chance they will have a Xano child! Feli can also carry markings, and while you may not be able to see them on the feli itself, they can pass these markings onto their children and even grandchildren!
⌂You do not chose who breeds with whom. If you place all your feli in your nest [or a clan, which is like a nest except other users can add their feli in as well] they will gradually build relationships with each other randomly. Your Felidae may hiss at your Chetae, or it might lick its ear, resulting in either - or + points between them. When both feli reach the +100, they will breed and the mother will give birth to 1-3 children in a few days. [The gestation period is different for each species] There is a way you can control breeding though, and that includes isolating two feli together and crossing your fingers. They can either fall in love, or hate each other with a vivid passion! Of course there are a few different potions that will make your feli be +100 with each other, so there's no need to fret!
⌂Feli cannot breed until they are seven days old, and cannot breed after they are 66 days old. There are aging and vitality potions that can keep your feli breeding forever, and recently candy was released that can revitalize your feli as well.

Felisfire is still in its beginning stages, so come hurry in before it gets too popular! There are still several feli species that are being released and many items are being turned into accessories for your creatures! It's a small community full of generous users who welcome every single person! Felisfire is unlike any site there is!
My ID number is 73 and I am one of the first users who joined, I share my account with two other people though, so if you need anything just address it to "Fennick".
I'd be happy to give you items and feli as a welcoming gift!
Come join our community, I promise you'll love it here!
