"Gaz? What a unique name. Well Gaz," Lucas said as he stood up and held his hand out. "-Would you like to dance?" He said then quickly added, "I don't blame you if you don't, and might I add that you don't have to wear your heels." He said and smiled nervously, still holding his hand out.

Raven blushed lightly as he brought her closer. 'Your okay Raven, no panicking. Your not in a crowd, he's just one person...' She thought and begun to panic slightly, her heartbeat quickening. You could say she was claustrophobic but she does well in small spaces, and it's only being around a large group of people that's when she starts to panic. She glanced around and calmed down, they were still on the sideline of the dancers.

Derryk wondered why he had brought her closer. He didn't even like being near people, but he felt now that if he moved back, she'd be offended.

"Good! For a second there I thought you would decline!" Lucas said as he swept her across the room and into the many twirling figures of dancers. "Don't let your toes get stepped on. Some of these people can't dance." He said softly with a playful smirk.

Raven started to giggle, softly at first, then at talking level. "We both don't want to be here, but yet were dancing with each other? Haha, I don't know if I'm the strange one or if you are... Maybe we both are!" She said happily, twirling in a circle with a actual real smile on her face, the first one in a while.
