Shaw looked at her wide-eyed. "What?"

Ryda sighed softly and ran a hand through her hair as she tried to think of a way to explain it to him. "How do you feel? Sick? Relaxed?" She asked, trying to understand why it was like he didn't belong in this era. "Maybe a witch cursed you or something?" She shrugged and signed softly. "Are you any good with wolves? They tend to hang around this area at night, and they always freak me out." She said, flinching at the sound of a wolf howling.

Shaw shook his head sadly. "I don't remember anything. I really don't. But I feel... majory confused, and a bit angry. I don't remember!"

Ryda put her hand softly on his shoulder. "Shh.." She said soothingly, trying to calm him down. "Wait a second." She said as she took her hand off his shoulder and lifted her laptop from the table onto her lap, opening up google and searching up his name. She scooted a bit closer to him so she could show him the results. "Is this your family?" She asked once she clicked on a site.

Shaw looked at the laptop in bewilderment, before reading it. "Yes," he said, shakily. "That is. Are... are they all dead?"

Ryda nodded sadly. "I'm sorry." She said softly, putting an arm around his shoulders and giving them a gentle squeeze before she let go and scrolled down. "It says that you went missing and were never found, although your comrades heard loud wolf growls."

Shaw's hand flew instictively up to his neck, where a scar, partly hidden by the t-shirt lay mottled across his collarbone. "I'm supposed to be dead?" He asked softly, then repeated it firmly. "I"m supposed to be dead!"

Ryda nodded. "Well, yeah. You are." She said, biting her lip because she was unsure how to react.

Shaw put his head in his hands with a sigh. "If only I could remember! It's like a missing puzzle piece from when I was in battle, to today.It's really, really frusterating! I don't remember any of this... stuff. Showers, picture-light-book-things," He said,, pointing to the laptop in disgust. "I don't remember. And i should be dead!"

Ryda nodded, putting an arm around his shoulders in hope he'd calm down. "Perhaps you're a vampire? Do you have any fangs?" She asked him with a raised eyebrow.
