Shaw shook his head. "I have never, ever seen a... shower." he looked guiltily at the dirt marks his shoes left on the floor behind him.

[Choco]

Ryda nodded and grabbed a towel for him from his closet before she opened it. "Okay, choose some clothes and I'll show you how to use it." She said, opening the door to the bathroom as she waited. The clothes were all for males, and they'd been in the guest room for as long as she could remember.

Shaw opened the drawer in the dresser and chose some clothes. He grabbed a simple pair of dark jeans and a t-shirt. "Alright, reporting for duty." he said, standing stiff.

Ryda smiled and took his clothes out of his hands, lying them on top the closed toilet seat. She walked up to the shower. "Say you want hot water, then you turn this." She said, pointing to the hot water controller. "If it gets too hot, you turn that one." She said as she pointed to the cold water controller. "You use the soap to make yourself clean and you move the shower head around. Anything else you need to know?"

"Uh, um, ok." Shaw said, trying to look passive, but his eyes showed his true bewilderment. "How do I turn it off? How does this work?!/"

Ryda decided to be patient with him. "You just turn it the opposite way. It's really simple, I promise. I don't know how it works, but be careful not to burn yourself with the hot water. And put your dirty clothes in the basket once you're done." She said, glancing up at him with a soft smile. She wondered if many of the soldiers were as young-and cute- as him, and decided that they probably were, for the young thing anyway.

"Alright," Shaw said, but he still seemed untrustworthy of this shower. It must have magic in it of some kind. 'This is my only uniform,though..." he said, a question glimmering in his eyes.

Ryda smiled softly at him. "I'll wash it for you. You can just wear those clothes until it's washed." She said, nodding to the ones he'd picked. "If you need me, I'll be in the room next door. Just exit your room and turn left and my door will be there. Do you need anything else explained?" She asked him, her gaze flickering over the room.

Shaw shook his head,"No, I believe thats all. I thank you for your help." He nodded, with a small, but genuine smile on his lips. "I'll find you later."

Ryda nodded and smiled softly as she left the room, closing the door behind her and walking into her room. She didn't shower in the evenings very often, preferring the mornings for some reason, so she left her door open in case he needed her to show him something and llay down on the bed.
