Pain was still shooting through my body, but it was cancelled out, at least for now, with Josh here. "Well I'm alive," I said with a smile. "It hurts, but it's better than the alternative."

I smiled at Seth and Bridget. "When...when do you think they're coming home?" I asked hesitantly.

I smiled and raised his hand, kissed it gently, then set it back down.

:Seth:

I shrugged lightly. "It could be anytime now."
