Ooh, lucky you. X3

I love it too. The coloring is so pretty! I hope the puppy and adult stages are even better. <3

Am I the only one thinking less along the lines of plants so much as barbed wire? This pup makes me think of WWI trenches with the texture of the blanket and dim colors. I think I've just spent way too much time studying for my History test, but I think WWI is really interesting so I would love to see some dogs based off of it. ^^
No matter what happens, these are my favorite pups so far. So much mystery. xD

I also see barbed wire and I'm more interested in WWII so that would be cool too ^^; no Nazis though LOL

It looks like lights to me but the barb wire sounds about right to. Just throwing that in =)

So, I'm a day late, but it became somewhat of a tradition of mine to
post something about each month's pets, so here I go.
Image
This month's 2nd gens are pure luffs, even though I usually say that about
all 2nd gens, they're my personal favourites because they mix the unique designs
of two adorable pets and the outcomes are always stunning. This is the outcome
I'd chose to represent the litter, because it's definetely the one I have the
highest exspectations for.
Image
Ratties! With each month I hope to see a PPS rat, but back to these beauties:
the green-ish/yellow-ish colours are promising and the dots - like sunlight shining
off one's eye-lids when one looks into the sun with half-closed eyes.
Image
Paint kitteh :3 I love the black stripes on it's head, this design somehow looks for
me like it would better fit a Warrior Cat, but this only adds to the excitement of how
she'll look like in the end. I'm guessing something splattery :D
Image
Black and white butterflywolves, hmm? They remind me slightly of last month's cats and
I couldn't be happier, since this is my favourite colour combination. The glitter suggests
that they'll be having a magical touch so ... hopefully we'll see them grow soon.
Image
I'm not too excited about the ponies. I'm not a fan of the horse and pony linearts anyway,
on top of that I prefer natural colours. But the designs seem intriguing, so maybe they'll
surprise me.
Image
Well, same thing as above, only that instead of intriguing markings these have a nice
tint of green to them, that suggests a colour that's nice to look at and warm.
Image
These remind me so, so much of the May butterfly-designed dogs [http://static.chickensmoothie.com/archive/image.php?k=F94A691F0E3EA547A7BF643CB816F766&bg=aac4da]. Maybe we'll have the
privilege to see a slightly toned down version with other butterflies?
Image
This is my favourite this month (if one leaves the Advents pets aside, then it would be the Glass PPS)
because the Stripes in his front legs remind me of that striped UR dog. The barb/vine things on his
blanket look promising too, but sadly it looks like there won't be many outcomes, with an adoption
limit of only 3.
Image
These I don't like at all. Spiders in real life are kind of cute, but the CS lineart of them never
quite pleased me, plus the violet/orange colour swirls on it don't really make it better for me.
I hope I'll come to terms with them though.
All in all, this month's pets are just as awesome as they always are, thanks so much CS staff for
another month of unequaled artistic genius and I'm so looking forward to my first advent here :D

I think if this indeed has to do something with this topic then we are talking about this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_truce

Which is indeed WWI

Gigglebug stuck two wafer rolls in her mouth and pretended to be a walrus. It is unclear how this could help the current situation.

Wow I never knew that about WWI. Truly amazing.

Im so happy I was able to trade for him. I have always loved carousels, their so magical and enchanting. The design on him is simple but elegant. Instant favorite. I think it would be cool if the artists did a bunch of carousel themed pets. Dogs, cats, tess dragons ect but im content with this guy. <3

I'm thinking, coon dogs and rose dogs <3 But I do see the logic in barbed wire- it does look a lot like dead rose stems, though, and the striped paws remind me of the Coontail's tail.

The store pets are ... wow. When I see store pets for the
first time I'm always first like ... 'w-what?' but after a few seconds
of staring I realize just how awesome they are.
This month's are no exception. Great work, and although I can't get
C$ I already managed to snatch me a set through a trade, so I'm happy :D
