ralph looked after Serena. He groled, irritated, and sprang after her. "I'm never gonna ask her!" He growled to himself. He caught up with her scent before she reached the water. Pnting hard he caught her shoulder with a flick of his tail. "Serena, i-i wanted to ask you something... privately" He dded the last bit as an afterthought as he glanced at the ohter fae.

Serena slowly walked towards camp thinking about what happened in her old pack since Mia brought it up, she knew Mia didn't mean anything by it and wasn't mad at her it just made her sad to think about the past. Serena finally padded into camp with her head down low, she hoped Ralph heard her howl to follow her back and maybe he would be there when she arrived.

Ralph watched her disapear into the distance. He scuffed the ground with his paw letting all his anger out. A surge of energy overwhelmed him. Pushing forwards with his powerful shoulders, he sprang forwards and his strides swallowed the ground in a few minutes. He entered camp and glanced across the clearing. He spotted her at the enterance and heaved a sigh of relief.

Serena looked around camp and spotted Ralph but he came in after her why is that she thought. She slowly padded to him. "So, Ralph what did you want to ask me earlier?" she said with a soft sad voice. The sadness of the past was just tugging on her heart, It had never hurt this much before, Why was it now? Mia only asked a small question, was it because she was hanging out with Ralph more? Serena burst into tears thinking about it she could bare the thought any longer, she ran off as fast as her legs could take her, she pushed hard through her shoulders an ran through a creek where Ralph couldn't find her scent, then she ran and ran until she came to a tree she had no idea where and fell to her stomach. She knew he would try to look for her and she didn't want to answer to him. She could tell him how she felt just yet, she didn't know him well enough, what if he hurt her like Dane? she kept thinking to herself, in fact that was all that was running through her mind she wasn't even thinking of Dastan and his hunger at the moment.

ralph stared after Serena, totally flabagastered! he picked up th pace after her and scrambled a little way behind. He caught up till he was at her shoulder. Not seein the creek, he slammed into the water and tripped over his paws. growling, he jumped up and stiffened. Blood trickled into his mouth. He snarled at a flock of birds overhead and pushed off back to camp. Too late now! he thought to himself I have to get myself fixed up! Why did she run away? His mind buzzed with questions. As he approached camp, he trotted towards Parfait and asked her "Can you help me please?"

Parfait gasped in surprise. Ralph was covered in blood and look in a right mess! She swallowed down vile and barked "Err, sure! Come into my den! I don't think Lunar can help right now!" She picked up a pace and padded to the bck of her den. Emergency supplies of cobwebs and slightly damp moss lay on a rock. She picked up the moss and turned to face Ralph. She dabbed it on his mouth and all the way along the trail of blood. Picking up the cobwebs, she placed them gently on to the wound. Sighing, she barked "Rest. Tell me how you got into this state!"
