Why is everyone so excited for the 18th? This is my first advent calendar =]

Because then some pets rerelease from the years ago ^^ (Galaxy, Moonswirl ...)

I never knew there were two pets to adopt on 18th! I thought it was just one,well you can't always count on the forums. xD

What is the Dec. 18th/Re-release thing?
On December 18th you will have the opportunity to adopt two pets that are very special. They are usually older pets, perhaps VR '08s or '09s. You also have a chance to adopt a UR, or un-released pet, and this is when new URs pop up. For more information on this please click here.

i honestly dont get why they aren't doing the hanukah calender with the advent calender i mean i get hanukah starts on different day this year but the least they could do is make some items and stuff to give out until hanukah starts not that it reall matters but hanukah and christmas are widely celebrated.

I am sure there will be Hanukah and Kwanza this year too

They was a Hannukah and Kwanzaa last year, but in 2009 there was only Hannukah.

there are only 8 days in hanukah, I'm sure when it does start they'll be putting out items for it too. and all the other holidays also the artists put in ALOT of work for the christmas advent calander so you can be sure to expect amazing things

although maybe I shouldn't assume and get my own hopes up xD

I sure hope we get some rares this year! And based off that ice pup, we should get some amazing stuff! I even like the BWs design! I know this year will be good to us. I wonder if they will have reindeer again! (like they did with the dogs last year). And what species they use for them.
Yeah, this advent calender is already epic.
