Snakestrike licked Goldenshine's fur the wrong way to get it dry.

"What happened?" Goldenshine croaked, feeling warmth start to flood her limbs.

[Nicnova]

"There was a flood," He meowed. He nuzzled her flank. "Goldenshine, I was so worried I wouldnt find you alive.."

"W-well, I'm alive, so stop worrying," Goldenshine gritted her teeth, and then rolled over on her paws. She tried to stand, but realized she didn't have enough strength yet. Stupid flood... she thought. How did I manage to get caught in that?

Snakestrike kept trying to dry her fur.

"I'm fine, I'm fine," Goldenshine sighed, and shook out her fur with great effort. "I think I, uh, just want to sit here for awhile....don't mind me..."

Snakestrike tried to think of an herb for strength. Maybe thyme would work?

"I told you, don't worry about me," Goldenshine protested, voice hoarse. "How many others are missing?"

"I dont know," He meowed. "And Im really worried about you, especially since your voice is hoarse, you might get sick," He found some thyme nearby and gave it to her.

Goldenshine flattened her ears, but gazed at the thyme. "I don't need it," she mewed stubbornly.
