Well, one is about my friend's uncle, who is a hunter. One hunting trip, he shot a white coyote. He put the coyote in the back of his truck, and left for a bit. When he came back, the coyote was gone, even though it had definitely been dead. there were tracks leading into the woods, and the hunter followed them. There was the same white coyote, not harmed at all.
This time, my friend's uncle shot it, then strangled it just to make sure it was dead. He put it in a bag and into the trunk, and left.
He came back later, and the coyote was gone. Just like the first time, there were tracks leading back into the woods. The hunter followed them again, and found the white coyote. It had come back to life a second time. This time, after he shot it, he stabbed it in the heart ( I know, real sad). He put it in a bag, into the trunk. and locked the trunk.
Came back later, it was gone, the trunk and bag opened and tracks leading away. He never found the coyote again.
This is a true story. Some Native American tribes believed that the white coyote was a sacred spirit, and my friend thinks that this coyote was a spirit.
My next one is about my other friend's step-niece (her stepsister's daughter). The step-niece (who's about three) and her mother and father live in an apartment building that used to be a children's hospital. This children hospital had had a fire in it many years ago, and a woman had died in the fire.
The step-niece ran into the kitchen one night. She came back to her mother, and said, "Mommy, the lady in the kitchen just told me to get out!"
True story again. They think that that lady was a ghost, and she had been the woman who had died.
