Kayla smiled and looked at him warmly.

Jay started doing some cleaning around the house.

The girl looked up at him, he was taller. "I-I don't know." She said honestly, her voice was soft and smooth. She didn't remember much of the last few hours.

Damon kissed her softly.

Mia stirred, "Daddy?"

"Can I look?" Jayce asked.

Kayla kissed him back happily.

"Yes?" Jay asked softly, walking over to Mia.

The girl hesitated then nodded. She sat on a bench on the sidewalk and put her leg up, looking at Jayce. "M-my name is Lily." She said quietly.

Damon held her close tightly.

Mia looked at him, "It hurts." she said.

Jayvce smiled lightly, "I'm Jayce." he replied as he looked at her leg.

Kayla gave a small whine when he touched a stake mark on her.

"I know." Jay murmured, kissing Mia's forehead. "It'll get better, I promise. You were so brave out there.." He said softly.

Lily gave a small smile as she moved a strand of dark hair out of her face and watched him. Her leg was bruised and may have been fractured.

Damon let her go, "I am sorry." he said.

Mia nodded as she looked at him, "Were you proud?" she asked quietly.

"You need it splinted, and to rest for awhile." he said.

"It's okay." Kayla whispered, relaxing slightly.

"I am proud." Jay corrected her smiling.

Lily looked at him and nodded slightly. "Do...you know how to do that? Or...?" She said hesitantly and shyly.

Mia smiled at him happily.

"Yes I do." he smiled.

Kayla looked at him and shook herself silently.

Jay smiled back warmly.

"C-could you?" Lily asked. "You don't have to of course.." She added quickly.
