Kayla slumped down a bit, tired and injured.

Jay glanced at Mia then Kyra. "Please." He whispered, looking at the wolves. "Kill me, just leave my family be. I'll sacrifice myself or anything, do what you want with me, just leave them alone. Please." He said, louder, eyes begging and desperate.

Erik watched her worriedly.

The wolves laughed, :"This is too much fun, why ruin it?"

Kayla looked at her son wearily.

"I know, I see it. But revenge isn't always the answer." Jay said quietly and weakly. "Just kill me, the deed will be done and you can all move on with your lives." He said, his voice desperate but calm.

Erik laid down quietly.

|Or we could just kill all of you."

Kayla pulled herself up again and looked at him softly.

Jay shook his head in defeat,. "You could." He agreed quietly, his eyes averted and filled with failure.

Erik silently laid there.

The wolvs watched him, "Leave now, or we kill you all."

Kayla watched him silently, relaxing slowly.

"J-Just me?" Jay inquired, looking up at the wolves.

Erik smoled at her.

The wolves nodded.

Kayla gave a small smile and picked him up gently. She weakly made her way over to the wall and leaned against it, setting Erik in her lap.

Jay blinked. "N-no. I-I can't. I m-made a promise and I'm going to ke-keep it." He managed to get out, looking up at them. His eyes tinged with sadness and a hint of desperation. "I'll never leave my family." He said quietly and flatly.

Erik smiled at her happily and cooed.

Kyra cried out as they fell upon her, her screams rang out threw the woods.
