The Trials of Lunaris | Wolf RP | Ended

[Morality]

((I guess I'll start.))

It was hot out. Blacklight impatiently paced back and forth, as if waiting for something. He stared at the sky, and through the trees he could see the sun, the brightest he'd ever seen it. He turned suddenly as he heard the chirping of birds. There were two robins sitting on a tree.
"Have you heard?" one said. "The water in the lake is lowering from all this heat!"
The other one flitted its wings. "No, really? It must be from the heat." It hopped a bit on its branch before chirping, "Hey, you know that story about the bridge?" The other nodded. "Do you think that the water will lower enough to allow passage without drowning?"
"You mean to get to the mainland?"
The other bird hopped up and down excitedly on its branch. "Yes, yes! Do you think some of the animals would even try to get across?"
"No, why would they want to leave their island home? It's like a paradise here. I don't see any logical reason for them wanting to leave."
Suddenly, Blacklight interrupted the birds. "Maybe they'd want to get to get out of this heat, or find something new!"
The two birds flitted their wings in astonishment. "What?"
"Well, myself, I'd look for it. The island is kind of boring, being all perfect, you know. Good food, all the time! No worries! Gets kind of boring, you know." He paused. "Hey, maybe I'll go look for it!" he then suggested.
"You're crazy!" one of the robins yelled as Blacklight ran away. "You'll die by yourself! And who'd actually want to journey to leave this island?" The two robins laughed.
"I'll find at least someone - you'll see!" Blacklight called back. He then stopped as no longer heard the laughing of the robins. But they're right - who'd actually go with me? But then a name came to mind - Rayfell. She was stubborn, but liked to have fun. She'd love an adventure, wouldn't she? he thought as he headed off, looking for his friend.

((LET'S PRETEND THEY'RE FRIENDS ALREADY. Anyhow, I hope this made sense. And I'm not actually expecting posts to be this long - this was just the, uh, introduction post, I guess?))

~Rayfell~

I was lying near a stream, gazing down into it. A few small fish were swimming in circles. I sighed and stood up, lapping some water up. When I was done, I turned and started to walk through the woods. A few birds flew overhead. I heard something about 'heat' and 'bridge'. Are they talking about... The water is lowering enough to cross? No way!

[Morality]

Blacklight sniffed the air. As he ran, he could smell Rayfell. "Rayfell! Rayfell!" the black wolf howled. He headed over to the left, avoiding trees, where he smelled his friend. He was pretty sure it was her - he could see her silvery back. He slowed his pace and approached her. "Rayfell! Is that you?" he called to the grey wolf.

I snapped my head up and sniffed the air. I barked happily once and turned to see Blacklight. "Hey, Blacklight! What's up?" I trotted over. "Hey, I heard a bird say something about the bridge..."

((Okay! Just fill in an application thingy!))

Blacklight walked happily over to Rayfell, responding with a bark as well. "You heard them say stuff about a bridge...?" Blacklight turned away. "Yeah, I heard them squawking about that too. I wouldn't be surprised about the water lowering - it's been rather hot lately." He stopped speaking. Should I ask her...? he wondered. Would she even want to go?

Personality: Alaric is quiet and tends to keep to himself. But he loved a good adventure and is really a playful, happy wolf when you get to know him.

Other: He has a scar running over his right eye, and he has a harder time seeing out of it. He and his brother were play fighting when his brother nicked his eye.

Personality: She's a lot like her brother Alaric, but she's more cautious when it comes to danger and adventure.

Other: She was born completely deaf, but as she aged it got better, she can now hear most things, but it still a little hard of hearing.
