That's fine by me, feel free to add me as mini-mod. :]

Hmm, that sounds odd, I have no problem coloring in the lineart you are using. Have you surely chosen the correct layer? The one that says "Lock alpha - color"? Sorry, I'm not sure what could be the problem, you're using this lineart, right?

How do you make transparent pictures? Do you need photoshop or tinypic?

Image
I can't see past my own nose,
I'm seeing everything in slo-mo
Look out below crashing down to the ground
just like a vertical locomotive
That's a train, am I painting the picture that's in my brain?
A train from the sky, locomotive, my motives are insane
My flow's not great, okay, I conversate with people
Who know if I flow on a song I'll get no radio play

While you're doing fine, there's some people and I

Who have a really tough time getting through this life

So excuse us while we S I N G to the S K Y.

Not necessarily. :] You could try using Iaza for removing backgrounds, it will remove all instances of the chosen color in picture, so make sure the background is of a color that isn't in the character/the actual picture. Or you can try free art program called GIMP. You can download Gimp from here. Here's how to remove background in gimp.

As for how to make images directly transparent in oekaki, make sure your layers are transparent before you start drawing! Transparency is shown with white/gray checkpattern in Oekaki (and in other art programs). All new layers you make will be transparent, but the one you have when you first open oekaki is filled with white, so you might want to get rid of that before you start. Once you've succesfully left the background transparent, remember to change the "format=auto" to format=png" in the image url or it won't show transparency.

Not sure if that answered everything or if I explained something confusingly so feel free to ask more. :3

Thanks Tuike, I knew it would be a little trick like that, I'm gonna go try it ^-^

Wait, if you have a link like this : viewtopic.php?f=34&t=907230
where would you put the "format=png" thing?

(I'm sorry if I'm being annoying)

Right click on the image and "Open in new tab/window". In the box where you usually write "www.bluhbluhbluh,com" will be a code of the drawing. It's somewhere near the end. ^^
You'll have to search for it and change it.
